Angelica was dumbfounded.

The Eleventh Apostle was resurrected just now, and it was utterly shocking.

Not only that, his power increased wildly. That imnse and terrible oppression he had made him seem invincible!

However, such a resurrected person who was several tis stronger than he was before, was decimated by Lili with a single punch. He was gone for good this ti!

This was true strength. This was what Double-axe Lili truly looked like—domineering, and powerful beyond equal!

At this mont, Angelica stared at Lili with starry eyes.

Yaeger's expression remained unchanged. Although she wasn't sure of Lili's actual strength, she knew that it was within reason for Lili to decimate the resurrected Eleventh Apostle with a single strike.

"He seems to have been reinforced by so mysterious power. It's dangerous." Lili retracted her hand and glanced at Yaeger, explaining the reason why she intervened.

"Yes. I think so too."

After using [Pentecost], the Eleventh Apostle's strength wasn't doubled. He was now a dangerous opponent since he was stronger than Yaeger in raw power.

However, Yaeger still felt like she had a 70% chance to win if she fought him seriously. It would be a battle where she could test her limits.

Unfortunately, due to her protective instincts, Lili intervened and killed instantly instead of allowing Yaeger to risk herself.

Of course, Yaeger was fine with it since Lili had nothing but good intentions in mind.

Moreover, she wasn't in a hurry to prove herself since she was sure that more opportunities like this would arise.

"Lili, thank you." Yaeger smiled.

"Yes." The latter nodded and smiled faintly, so adorable.

‘Ah, I'm dying!' As a response, Angelica clutched onto her chest and had difficulty breathing.

‘Ah, I'm dying!' Yaeger's expression remained unchanged but her heart beat wildly.

She wondered if she was going to beco a pedophile.

Although Lili was definitely much older than her… But it was fine since she was very cute!

"Clean it up." Lili started blushing after noticing their gazes. She instantly turned around and pointed at the shattered fragnts on the ground.

"Right away." Yaeger smiled softly. Flas sputtered as she waved [Sunscorch], they landed on the ground and scorched what remained of the Eleventh Apostle.

A strange sll emanated on the scene. Everyone couldn't help but cover their noses and mouths.

After so ti, the fla was extinguished.

"What is this?" Yaeger glanced at the ground and was instantly attracted by a small item that emanated a faint glow. Then, she used her aura to retrieve it.

It was a black fragnt made of unknown material which emanated a faint glow.

"I suppose it belonged to that guy." Lili said.

"Yes." Yaeger reached out her hand and tapped it with her finger.

Sure enough, a ssage appeared.

Item: Unknown

Description: This is a mysterious object dropped from the Eleventh Apostle. It seems to be sothing sacred, but it has been contaminated.

If decontaminated, it might function normally.

After seeing the description, Yaeger felt a hunch that it might be valuable.

After so hesitation, she glanced at Lili and said, "Lili, this thing…"

Lili interjected before she could finish. "I don't want it. Feels like there are germs on it."

She looked disgusted and sincerely despised it.

"I see. Then I'll keep it." Yaeger smiled and placed the unknown item into her backpack.

"Is everything settled now?" Angelica said uneasily.

"It's fine for the ti being." Yaeger glanced at her. "However, I'm afraid most of your people are already infected with the [Starfall Disease]. If no cure is devised after a month… All of you will die."

Boom!

Angelica felt like she was struck by thunder after hearing those words. Her mind went blank and her body trembled uncontrollably. She then fell on the grassland as her legs went limp.

She was only 18 years old. She had lots of ti to explore her passions and aspirations in life.

However, Yaeger's words had completely severed all her expectations for the future.

She desperately hoped that all of this was just a dream!

Once she woke up, she would return as a kindhearted and beautiful village girl, who would help the villagers everyday and spend her youth in the best way possible.

Instead of being like this, bound by the hourglass of death. Once the ti ca, she would be killed and sent to heaven.

"Don't worry. The outco that you dread will never happen. The reason is that I'm here."

Yaeger bent down and tapped her shoulders while letting out a heartwarming smile.

Angelica looked up, tears of dread trailing down her cheeks.

She was deeply afraid just now. But for so reason, the mont she saw this beautiful face and beautiful smile, her heart started to settle down. Soon, a feeling that erged within her flowed like a fountain and instantly filled her with reassurance.

It was the first ti for her to feel such a feeling. It was so warm and comfortable.

"Ding! Angelica's Favorability towards you has increased by 5,000 points."

Yaeger was taken aback after hearing the system announcent.

‘This is odd. I earned five thousand points just by tapping her shoulder. Will I gain more if I hug her?"

With that thought in mind, Yaeger went down on one knee and hugged Angelica while whispering, "I'll definitely find a way to cure you."

Witnessing the scene, Lili was petrified as her lips trembled.

Angelica's eyes were wide open as her face beca deathly pale. Her mind instantly beca blank.

‘Who am I? Where am I? Where did I co from, where should I go?'

Within a split second, these soul-crushing questions rang in her mind.

Angelica finally ca to her senses after feeling that imnse softness and intoxicating body fragrance. Her face beca flushed within an instant and her heart beat wildly.

"Ding! Angelica's Favorability towards you has increased by 5,000 points."

‘Woah. It really works.' Yaeger nodded in satisfaction and proceeded with her next action.

"Trust . It will be fine." As she spoke, she gently blew air into Angelica's ear.

The next mont, Angelica's body quivered. She was in intense bliss, as if her soul was about to ascend to heaven.

The indescribable feeling where her mind went blank and her body soaked in ecstasy petrified her body. An otherworldly sensation exploded in her mind and made her feel like she was in heaven.

Angelica ascended!

"Ding! Angelica's Favorability towards you has increased by 6,000 points. You are now friendly with her."

‘Good. Now I can convince her easier.' Achieving her goal, Yaeger let go of Angelica and stood up.

At the sa ti, Angelica returned to her senses. She was instantly yanked down from heaven and back into the mortal realm.

"Ugh…" After rembering the fact that she ascended to heaven after receiving a single hug, her face beca flushed and steam escaped from her skull.

However, after feeling an unfriendly gaze, Angelica trembled and looked over.

Lili was squinting with a grim expression.

Angelica felt chills down her spine after observing such an expression.

She suddenly felt like Lili was substantially more horrifying than the Black-hearted Princess.

Yaeger didn't notice this minor change. Even if she did, she would ignore it anyway.

Now, the plague demanded the most attention.

"Angelica, do you have a backup water supply?"

This reservoir had been contaminated for so ti. It was obviously unusable.

Yaeger wasn't deeply knowledgeable about the Starfall Disease also. She was unsure if drinking contaminated water like this would worsen the symptoms and shorten the incubation period.

Fixing the issue of water supply was undoubtedly the top priority.

Angelica stood up with a faint blush on her face. But it was much better when compared to before.

"Yes. We have a backup water source."

All eggs wouldn't be placed in the sa basket. The sa went for the supply of drinking water.

If anything happened to this reservoir, the surrounding villages would have no water to drink.

Hence, a backup water source was mandatory.

"Very good. Once you're back, cut the supply from this water source and use the backup. Also, a lot of people died in the village and you're sowhat involved in it. I'm sure so people will point their fingers at you for no reason. Just ignore them. You're definitely not the reason why this happened. Don't overthink it." Yaeger said.

Angelica nodded. She no longer felt an inexplicable sense of disdain towards Yaeger. On the contrary, she seed to like her now.

Hence, she took all of her suggestions into heart.

They left the reservoir and ca to the foot of the mountain. The Beast Carriage was still in place.

Although the coachman had considered running away many tis, he eventually decided to wait obediently upon considering the possibility that the Black-hearted Princess might retaliate.

It was almost noon by the ti they returned to the village.

After sending Angelica ho, Yaeger and Lili returned to the city using a premium Beast Carriage.

It was funded by the taxpayer. Use it or lose it.

The Beast Carriage was traveling quickly but the carriage itself was quite stable.

"Succubus." Lili looked at [Aoma Village] outside the window, and whispered as it dwindled in her field of vision.

"Huh?" Yaeger vaguely heard sothing.

"No, no. I'm saying, will that Starfall Disease infect us?" Lili changed the subject in a panic.

"It won't." Yaeger spoke assertively.

The Starfall Disease wouldn't influence any living beings that were over Level 20. Anyone below Level 20 would be easily infected, unless they had a powerful immune system.

This was a real calamity-level plague!

‘In addition, Starfall Disease doesn't affect players at all.' Yaeger silently added this remark.

"That's good." Lili sighed in relief. Compared to the villagers, she was a lot more concerned about Yaeger's health.

"Lili, about what he said, what do you think?" Yaeger asked suddenly.

"The guy who called himself the Eleventh Apostle?"

"Yes."

"His words sounded like one from a loser trying to comfort himself. But still, it seems a little weird." Lili said.

"I think so too. Perhaps there's an unknown organization behind this man. Perhaps this incident may just be the beginning of sothing else."

No matter how she looked at it, the Eleventh Apostle's actions were planned and deliberate. Moreover, it was done in a cruel and sowhat zealous manner.

"Yes. If he didn't say those words out of madness, then there's definitely sothing more beneath the surface." Lili looked down with a solemn expression.

"Let's plan for the worst, in advance." Yaeger spoke solemnly.

Hearing that, Lili pondered deeply before speaking, "Yes. But we'll postpone our planning until Alicia and you return safely."

"Don't worry. We'll definitely return from the underground maze, safe and sound." Yaeger smiled at her, receiving a smile in return.

While this premium Beast Carriage was returning to Jade City at high speeds, over 100 players gathered in Jadeleaf Plaza. All of them had a common goal, which was to lynch the unforgivable [Mahou Shoujo Yunuen].
