Yaeger swiftly deflected Oga's attack, causing him to stagger backward. The abrupt turn of events compelled everyone to shift their focus to the descending figures in the distance.
Their gazes locked on in awe, and a shiver ran down their spines as they realized the truth: Those colossal figures were none other than enormous Magic Beasts!
There were five of them, each of a size that defied comprehension. Even the smallest among them, resembling a boar, stood as tall as a mountain.
With a resounding boom, the five Magic Beasts landed, shaking the ground beneath them.
As they observed the descending Magic Beasts, their eyes scanned from left to right, taking in the distinct features of each creature.
On the leftmost side stood a pitch-black scorpion, its entire body covered in a dark chitinous armor. Green light danced along the edges of its venomous stinger, emanating a sinister aura.
Next in line was an icy-blue lizard, exuding an intense coldness that sent shivers down their spines. Frost seed to form around its scaled body, emphasizing its chilling presence.
The third creature was a fearso double-headed wolf, its snarling maws revealing rows of razor-sharp fangs. Its white fur, resembling toughened steel, bristled with an undeniable air of aggression.
Following suit was a gray praying mantis, its compound eyes scanning the surroundings with eerie precision. Its forelimbs resembled gigantic blades, glinting ominously in the dim light.
Finally, a massive boar with jet-black fur caught their attention. Its red eyes burned with an infinite mixture of hatred and anger, portraying an imposing and formidable presence.
"Oh my goodness! What in the world is happening?" One of the players exclaid, his voice filled with panic.
"Is this so kind of twisted nightmare?" Another player questioned, his voice trembling with fear.
"Damn it! Can soone please explain what's going on?" A third player pleaded, his desperation evident in his voice.
"Five elite monsters… We're done for!" A player exclaid, his voice filled with resignation and terror.
The initial excitent of encountering the succubus and Black-hearted Princess had quickly turned into a horrifying nightmare. The players realized that they had unwittingly stumbled into a deadly situation, facing five monstrous Magic Beasts. Even the weakest among them, the boar, posed a threat far beyond their capabilities.
"Run!" Soone's voice echoed through the chaotic scene, and in an instant, a wave of panic swept over the players and adventurers. They turned and fled without hesitation.
"Stop! Do you really think you can escape from those Magic Beasts?" Oga's voice bood, frustrated at the sight of everyone dispersing. He knew that running away was the worst decision they could make in the face of such formidable opponents.
Running away only ant sealing their own fate, ensuring a swift and inevitable demise. It would be far better for them to gather their strength, unite, and strategize to find a way out. But these adventurers and players lacked the disciplined training and composure required to face lethal danger head-on. Their instinct was to flee, driven by fear and the desire for self-preservation.
It was a chaotic scene of scattered individuals, their thoughts consud by the desperate need to escape, unable to gather the courage to confront the imminent threat.
"You guys!" Oga's voice bood with frustration as the others continued to sprint away. Despite their fear, his squad mbers remained in position, awaiting further instructions.
"Princess, what should we do next?" Yunuen asked, her voice steady and composed. She displayed remarkable calmness in the face of danger.
Little Fairy shared the sa sentint, finding solace in the presence of Princess. She believed that as long as Yaeger was there, they would find a way out of this predicant.
Alicia's mind was in disarray, her face flushed with a mix of emotions. She felt disconnected from reality, unable to fully process the situation.
"Wait for the right mont to take action," Yaeger responded calmly, her voice cutting through the chaos.
The sudden appearance of the Magic Beasts was surprising but not entirely unexpected. Given the earlier sense of ill intent, Yaeger had prepared herself for unexpected events during this critical mont. Their arrival didn't faze her much.
She quickly assessed the situation, realizing that all the Magic Beasts, except for the boar, were formidable opponents. The scorpion, wolf, mantis, and lizard were all incredibly strong. She knew that she could handle two of them easily, barely manage with three, and struggle against four. However, facing all five would be a nightmare.
Fortunately, the boar and lizard imdiately went after the fleeing players and adventurers, leaving only the double-headed wolf, scorpion, and praying mantis to confront Yaeger and the black-armored soldiers.
With determined eyes, the remaining Magic Beasts slowly closed in on Yaeger and the soldiers, paying little attention to the cannon fodder who scattered in panic.
"I'll handle them. You all protect Alicia," Yaeger said, releasing her embrace on Alicia and addressing Yunuen and Little Fairy. There was a tinge of sadness in Alicia's eyes as she wished she could fight alongside Yaeger while being held, but the reality was that facing three formidable beasts would be too dangerous to keep her close.
"Understood!" Yunuen and Little Fairy responded in unison.
"Take care," Alicia said softly, her gaze fixed on Yaeger.
Yaeger nodded in acknowledgnt, turning around as her weapon, [Sunscorch], glead brightly in her hand.
Alicia and the others quickly moved back, creating distance between themselves and the impending battle. Only Yaeger and the six soldiers remained on the front lines.
anwhile, the fate of the adventurers and players was grim.
"Ahhhhhhh!" The air was filled with screams and the grueso sounds of carnage as blood splattered in every direction. Their feeble attempts to outrun the powerful Magic Beasts proved futile, and it was only a matter of ti before they were rcilessly slaughtered.
"Roar!" The massive boar rampaged through the crowd, venting its anger and frustration. If S.K.Y. and Taurus Zhang were present, they would imdiately recognize this boar as the sa relentless pursuer from their previous encounter. Now, it unleashed its fury upon the helpless escapees, stomping and trampling without rcy.
On the other side, the large lizard emitted a chilling aura that froze the escaping victims in their tracks. Its tail swiped through the crowd, inflicting severe injuries upon several adventurers who beca incapacitated and unresponsive.
Hovering in the air, a cute figure watched the horrifying slaughter unfold below. Her tightly clenched fists trembled with anger, and her eyes blazed with fury.
"@#%$… $&%~%… &^!" She muttered a string of incomprehensible words, as if hurling insults and curses at the foolish humans and monsters caught in the carnage. Her body and soul shook violently, consud by rage.
If she had known that things would turn out like this, she would have delayed the release of those five Magic Beasts. But it was too late for regrets now. The cute figure knew that her only hope lay with the three Magic Beasts not far away. With a forceful wave of her fists, she seed to cheer them on, willing them to unleash their power upon the chaos below.
Yaeger and the soldiers stood firm, ready to face both the Magic Beasts. While confronting the ferocious beasts, she also had to stay vigilant against any surprise attacks from the soldiers. If they dared to harm Alicia and the others, Yaeger would eliminate them without hesitation. Given the opportunity, she would prioritize dealing with the soldiers.
The three Magic Beasts closed in on them. The black scorpion lunged forward, its stinger aiming for Yaeger. Its lightning-fast speed generated a powerful shockwave in the air. anwhile, the mantis swung its blade-like forearms at the soldiers. In response, Oga decisively struck back, his sword clashing loudly against the mantis' blades, creating a resounding impact.
The force of the clash pushed both Oga and the mantis backward. On the other side, Yaeger remained composed as the scorpion's stinger approached. With a wave of her hand, a semi-transparent barrier materialized in front of her. The poisonous stinger crashed into the barrier, causing powerful shockwaves to ripple outward. Yet, behind the protective shield, Yaeger stood unscathed, completely unaffected by the attack.
Suddenly, a colossal figure descended from above. Yaeger looked up to see the double-headed wolf hurtling down like a mountain, aiming to crush everything in its path.
