Tears stread down their faces as the naked trio huddled together in the arena, sobbing uncontrollably. Their faces were etched with hopeless despair. In under an hour, they had endured horrors that no ordinary person could even begin to fathom.

The mory of their bodies being ruthlessly examined and toyed with left them horrified and deeply humiliated.

“I want to die…” Vera 1 murmured, her gaze vacant, lips barely moving. She hadn’t just been violated—there had been spectators. Worst of all, two of those spectators had been her own sisters.

The sha was unbearable.

‘I’d rather die…'

In that mont, her heart shattered.

Vera 2 and 3 were no different—they, too, were devastated. They had never known such a traumatic experience.

‘This is no ordinary humiliation… this is a demon’s cruelty!’ Vera 2 clung tightly to Vera 3, her body shaking uncontrollably. She prayed, in vain, that this was all just a nightmare.

Vera 3 felt her bones ache under the tight embrace, but even that pain was nothing compared to the tornt in her mind. ‘I have been defiled—inside and out. That demon has violated every part of …’ her thoughts spiraled in anguish.

Recalling the strange, invasive sensation that lingered within her, a shiver ran down her spine.

“From now on, you work for .” Yaeger, satisfied after examining their flawless forms, spoke with calm authority.

At her words, their sobs ceased. The three glared at her with hatred, their voices united in defiance. “Keep dreaming! I, Vera One/Two/Three, would rather die in agony on the streets than ever beco your slave!”

Their tone was resolute, brimming with unshakable defiance.

“How bold,” Yaeger said with a faint smile.

“Hmph!” they huffed in unison, turning their heads away with contempt. Though they had been rcilessly degraded, they refused to let go of their pride.

‘Better death than submission—this is dignity!’ Vera 1, 2, and 3 thought in perfect harmony.

“Very well. Since you value your dignity so much, I’ll be generous.” Yaeger cast them a glance before turning to the bystanders. “Little Blue, lock them in a guest room. No food for a week.”

“Yes!” Little Blue responded cheerfully, raising her tiny hands in glee.

Vera 17 and 18 exchanged glances, silently disapproving. ‘Number One, Two, and Three… you’re still so naïve. Dignity? In front of Master? You have no idea what’s coming for you…’

Rembering their master’s cruelty, they couldn’t help but offer a mont of silent pity for Vera 1, 2, and 3.

“W-what did you just say…? I must have misheard…” Vera 1 stamred, her eyes trembling and face drained of all color.

“Starve for a week?” Vera 2 froze, as if turned to stone.

“This has to be a lie…” Vera 3 murmured, her hands clenched tightly, her voice distant and hollow.

There was one fatal weakness shared by all the Vera Doppelgängers—and Vera herself: starvation. That vulnerability was rooted in Vera’s childhood trauma. A trauma so deep, it had been etched into her very soul.

“Take them away,” Yaeger ordered coldly, her expression unreadable. In the next instant, a soft blue glow enveloped the trio, lifting them effortlessly into the air.

Little Blue appeared in a blink, grinning mischievously. “Let’s see how long your dignity holds up.”

The trio thrashed desperately inside the shimring bubble, but it was useless—the barrier didn’t even budge. Only now did they fully realize—the seemingly innocent girl before them possessed terrifying strength.

Faced with the futility of resistance, they exchanged bewildered glances—torn between panic and pride. On one hand, they were terrified of starvation—almost obsessively so. On the other, they couldn’t bear the thought of surrendering to Yaeger and becoming her slaves.

“What should we do…?” Vera 2 asked hesitantly. Logic told her she must never give in—yet every fiber of her body scread that she couldn’t survive starvation.

“Endure it. We just need to wait. The original will find a way to rescue us,” Vera 3 said, forcing herself to sound composed.

“Are you stupid?” Vera 1 groaned, rubbing her forehead in frustration.

“Who are you calling stupid?” Vera 3 shot back, annoyed.

“Have you still not noticed? This place is… wrong. And those two—Big Demon and Little Demon—they’re far stronger than the original ever was.” Vera 1 shrugged, helpless and bitter.

Vera 3 fell silent, stunned. The retort died on her lips. The strange spatial teleportation… their abrupt arrival in a dark arena… it all unsettled her deeply. It felt as though they weren’t even on Aqua Blue Star anymore—but trapped in a demon’s lair.

‘If the original cos here… she’ll be annihilated,’ Vera 3 thought, a bitter smile forming on her lips.

Unlike Vera 17, their ntal resilience was much stronger. After all, they hadn’t broken instantly at the ntion of starvation—nor had they imdiately pledged loyalty to Yaeger.

But now, faced with the bleak truth that no rescue was coming, their resolve was nearing its limit. This was a battle they were never ant to win—one born of desperation and destined for defeat.

‘This is my final act of defiance!’ Vera 1 clenched her teeth, determined to resist until her very last breath.

Vera 2 and 3, inspired by her resolve, hardened their expressions in silent agreent.

Monts later, Little Blue escorted them to a guest room, unceremoniously throwing them inside before sealing the door shut. With Yaeger and Little Blue gone, the suffocating pressure lifted slightly, allowing them a brief mont of relief.

But that mont of peace shattered when they sensed it—their life energy had been nearly drained. The looming threat of starvation and death stirred a violent storm within their minds, battering what was left of their willpower.

That fear tore through their final line of ntal defense.

anwhile, outside… Yaeger stood beneath the pale crescent moon, her face calm and unreadable, lost in thoughts no one else could fathom.

“Master, it’s done!” Little Blue appeared in a flash, beaming with pride.

“Excellent. The sooner you break them in, the sooner you’ll have three new assistants,” Yaeger said, extending her hand to gently pat Little Blue’s head.

“Hehe~” Little Blue closed her eyes and grinned with pure delight.

“Now that I think about it… have there been any unusual events on Aqua Blue Star recently?” Yaeger asked.

“No major changes…” Little Blue paused for a beat. “But I did notice sothing strange.”

“What kind of strange?” Yaeger asked, curiosity piqued.

“Recently, a cruise ship vanished without a trace off the Arican coast. A satellite happened to catch a glimpse of it.”

As she spoke, Little Blue tapped at the air, and a virtual projection materialized before them. “Master, this is the location,” she said, zooming in on the image. “Well, technically, the satellite just happened to catch it by chance.”

As Yaeger examined the crystal-clear satellite image, a chill crept down her spine. She gasped without thinking. “What… is that?”
