When the Ninth Apostle saw the holy light particles radiating from Yaeger’s body, a foreboding sense imdiately rose in his heart. But once a strike had been launched, it was like spilled water, nearly impossible to take back.

At that mont, Yaeger’s black hair flew wildly, the particles of holy light dancing around her, dyeing the wings of wind behind her in shimring gold.

In the next instant, the holy light particles surged out from her body, condensing into a set of divine armor. Golden light flared brilliantly, she looked like a Valkyrie descended from the heavens!

“Holy Shield,” she said calmly, watching as the two pitch-black fists grew rapidly larger in her pupils.

In a flash, a massive shield of light ford before her delicate, glowing hand, radiating a sacred aura in all directions. In the blink of an eye, the Ninth Apostle’s twin fists—like dragons breaking through the sea—slamd into the shield with terrifying black energy.

A deafening boom erupted across the scene. A powerful shockwave blasted outward, knocking the nearby clerics into the air with screams of pain. Even the Ninth Apostle himself was sent flying by the force, coughing up blood as he staggered back.

“Too weak. Far too weak. Was that really your full-power strike?” Yaeger raised her hand lightly, the Holy Shield fading to reveal her graceful figure, she hadn’t moved an inch!

The Ninth Apostle barely steadied himself and landed with a crash, cracking the thick paving stones beneath his feet. His face went pale as he stared at Yaeger, horror creeping into his expression. He couldn’t believe her power had risen to such a staggering level.

‘This woman is too dangerous… I can’t fight her head-on!’

Of all strategies, retreat was now the wisest. The Ninth Apostle was already preparing to escape. He stomped the ground hard, splitting it open with a shockwave. The cracks spread rapidly, sending fragnts flying.

“Trying to flee? Not a chance!” Yaeger saw through his plan instantly. With a wave of her slender hand, her holy light swept through the air, scattering the oncoming debris like leaves in the wind.

And then, with her other hand, she thrust forward. A concentrated blast of holy light surged from her palm, transforming into a golden beam that shot toward the fleeing Ninth Apostle.

Startled, he quickly calculated his options. Take the hit and use the force to escape… or block it.

In just 0.3 seconds, he made his decision: Block it. The reason was simple, in his injured state, there was no way he could flee from Aoma Village. He absolutely could not take that attack head-on!

He spun back around, condensing his black aura into a shield. At nearly the sa mont, Yaeger’s light beam struck.

The shield fractured on impact. The Ninth Apostle’s eyes narrowed. In a flash, he poured everything he had into holding the shield together. The powerful blast drove him backward step by step. But after just two seconds, the pressure eased as the energy of the beam dissipated.

He had blocked it! But before he could feel even a flicker of relief, a crisp, lodic voice rang out from above.

“Have you ever seen a palm strike that descends from the heavens?”

The Ninth Apostle looked up, and imdiately felt a chill run down his spine. Terror flooded through him. A colossal hand of holy light was falling from the sky, aid directly at him!

Just a bit earlier… Outside the village gates.

Everyone had been hearing strange, thunderous sounds coming from within the village for a while now. They all sounded unmistakably like combat.

The militian and villagers wanted to rush over to see what was happening, but they also didn’t want to leave the gate unguarded and let the outsiders in. The players, of course, were eager to take advantage of the chaos, each one eyeing the gate like a wolf eyeing its prey, waiting for their mont.

Suddenly, a flash of golden light cut across the pitch-black sky. Everyone instinctively turned to look toward the church—and there, in the heavens above it, a giant golden hand descended from the sky.

“My god, what is that!?” cried the young soldier.

“It’s the judgnt of holy light!” the older soldier shouted, trembling with excitent.

On the other side, the villagers’ legs went weak, their bodies trembling with awe. Having just survived the plague, their reverence for the Goddess of Light had already reached unprecedented levels.

Now, as they witnessed this massive palm of holy light and felt its overwhelming sacred power… It felt as if their minds were trembling and their very souls were dancing.

A villager dropped to his knees with a thud. One after another, more villagers knelt down, and even the two militian couldn’t help but fall to their knees, bowing toward the direction of the church.

The players were just as stunned. But unlike the villagers, they held no reverence for gods or spirits, so they quickly regained their composure.

KokoDayo swiftly sent out a group ssage to the nearby players. The ssage read: “While these NPCs are busy worshipping their god, we rush in!”

Upon seeing the ssage, the players agreed this was a once-in-a-lifeti opportunity.

With a wave of KokoDayo’s hand, they all surged forward at once. By the ti the villagers and militian reacted, the players had already broken through the barricade and were sprinting toward the church.

“The Black-Hearted Princess is probably there!” KokoDayo shouted while running. He had a strange, inexplicable hunch that the beautiful girl, practically a walking treasure trove, was engaged in battle right at the church.

And, to be fair, his hunch was spot on.

At this mont, the earth-shaking golden palm had yet to fully descend. It moved slowly—so slowly, and with such divine solemnity. More than a killing blow, it felt like a manifestation of divine authority, a holy revelation.

As soon as the clerics saw the radiant golden palm, they all fell to their knees as one, their faces filled with emotion and reverence. Micha wept openly, his old face soaked with tears. His lips moved in silent prayer, murmuring words no one could quite catch.

Not far away, the Ninth Apostle stood paralyzed. His heart gripped by fear, his mind on the verge of panic. The palm was descending so slowly, and yet… No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t escape.

That was because an overwhelming pressure had locked down his entire body. He couldn’t move, not even an inch. He could barely keep himself from collapsing to his knees!

“I surrender! I surrender!” the Ninth Apostle shouted skyward with all his strength, his voice strained to its limit.

The crushing pressure distorted his face, warping it grotesquely. Though he scread at the top of his lungs, it seed Yaeger didn’t hear him.

No—that wasn’t quite right. She did respond.

BOOM!!

The air exploded. Rings of ripples spread across the space around them. And then, that slowly descending golden palm seed to ignite with afterburners, surging downward like a missile.

The sheer pressure forced the Ninth Apostle to the ground, driving him into a kneeling posture and cracking the earth all around. Explosions of stone echoed violently as the ground split apart.

“No! You can’t kill ! You can’t kill !!” On his knees, the Ninth Apostle scread hysterically, overwheld by the terror of imminent death.

The golden palm was now just three ters above him. The holy light roared and surged, as though it sought to purify every sin in the world.

“I don’t want to die!” the Ninth Apostle sobbed, voice hoarse, tears streaming down his face. His cries, desperate and wretched, might’ve even stirred pity— but that golden hand showed no intention of stopping.

“Be redeed by the Light,” Yaeger said coldly.

And then… the golden palm crashed down with a deafening boom.

First, it crushed the Ninth Apostle beneath it. Then, it shattered the earth, setting off an earth-shaking roar. The ground trembled violently. When the dust finally settled, what remained… was a fearso, divine handprint scorched into the land.
