When Kang Li said this, Luo Yanqing beca at a loss.
His eyes were red, full of panic and fear, as if he’d been severely bullied.
Looking at the man intently, Kang Li suddenly wanted to hold him, rub his head, comfort him, tell him... those words were just said casually, tell him she wasn’t fooled by his lies, tell him no one could separate them, even he himself, without her consent, divorce was out of the question!

Kang Li sighed quietly and walked to the desk, picking up a cup of water and handing it to the man, "Drink up. Once I see you finish it, I’ll leave." Her expression was unchanged, and seeing the man hesitated to take the cup, she added, "Don’t want to drink? I poured this especially for you."
"I’ll drink."
Taking the cup, Luo Yanqing finished it in one gulp.
"You get on with your work, I’m leaving now."
Saying this, Kang Li started walking toward the door.
Luo Yanqing’s lips twitched, wanting to call back his little girl, reaching out a hand to stop her, but no words ca, and he didn’t step forward, just watched Kang Li’s figure disappear beyond the door.
Yet he was ntally timing it, thinking about where Kang Li would have walked to, while Kang Li was also timing it, wondering if soone would co after her.
She walked neither fast nor slow, until she stepped outside the dormitory building, hearing hurried footsteps from behind. Her lips curved slightly, and her pace involuntarily quickened.
"Xiao Li!"
Luo Yanqing was running from the dormitory.
"Xiao Li..."
"You... mm..."
Kang Li was caught off guard as the man pulled her into his arms, and warm lips touched hers.
Not allowing Kang Li to struggle, Luo Yanqing blocked all her unspoken words.
His eyes were wet, one hand wrapped around her waist, the other gently holding her nape, kissing her softly yet cherishingly...
Kang Li ca to her senses and imdiately bit the man’s lip.
The sharp pain cleared Luo Yanqing’s impulsive mind, as if shocked, he withdrew his hand.
Seeing the red blooming on her lips, Kang Li thought she might have been a bit harsh, but recalling the anger this man brought to her that hadn’t subsided, her initial intention to wipe the blood vanished.

Luo Yanqing returned to his cool and indifferent deanor, his gaze distant, looking at Kang Li as if she was a stranger.

One mont talking about divorcing her, urging her away without hesitation, the next chasing after her, kissing her without a word, now showing indifference again—did he think she wouldn’t get angry?
