Reborn as an Evolving Space Monster: Harem Of Otherworldly Beauties Chapter 376 376: Rea, III
"I damn well hope you think so," Sina sighed. "Otherwise, you might as well admit that you're turning your spaceship into a mobile house and planning to live like a bum."
"Can you leave alone now? I have things to think about." Rea sighed back.
"You're planning on leaving Wor when Cero cos back, right?"
"That's right." The daughter answered simply.
"As I'm sure you've understood by now, that's fine by , as long as you're not rotting in your room." Sina stood up and stretched. "I'm sure you'll do plenty of amazing things, and make plenty of money in the process. There's just no way you won't."
"Because I'm so amazing?" Rea asked cheekily.
"Well, you're surrounded by amazing people, so…"
"Geh…! Can't I get so words of encouragent for once?"
"You don't need any," Sina smiled. "Plenty egotistical and full of yourself already."
"Ah… I see… Thanks…"
"It can't be helped," Sina waved as she started walking away. "You're my daughter after all."
"Hmph." Rea didn't respond, but her mother's words managed to crack a smile on her face.
"By the way," Sina stopped montarily, turning towards her daughter. "I said it was fine with , but…"
"But…?" Rea raised an eyebrow.
"Your father will be a ss upon hearing that you're leaving." Sina coughed. "You'll need to think about sothing to say, no way in hell am I letting him know."
"C-Can't you do that for ?!" Rea protested, imdiately able to picture her father sobbing and holding her in his arms, refusing to let her leave. "How am I supposed to convince him that it's the right thing for ?!"
"Well, I convinced my father before you, so…" Sina shrugged and turned back away. "Hahaha, good luck with it! Don't tell him that I'm aware of your plans either! If you do, I'll deny tooth and nail!"
"Yeah, yeah, alright…" Rea sighed as her mother walked away, but couldn't repress a chuckle monts later.
She lay on the ground, staring at the stars above, one sentence circling and spinning inside her mind repeatedly.
As long as amazing people keep doing amazing things, money will find its way into their pockets.
'My whole life I thought that making money necessarily ant doing things I didn't want to do like working with mom and her company… But that's not the case, is it? Money isn't that simple,' Rea thought. 'In a way, that's what I've been trying to prove for a while. My career as a Professional Gar took place entirely to prove that point.'
As long as amazing people keep doing amazing things, money will find its way into their pockets.
'Gaming competitively…' She stared at the palm of her hand before slowly clenching. 'Is far from amazing enough for . I can be much more amazing than that.'
The thought naturally led her to think about the next chapter in her life, as well as the previous one.
Well, you're surrounded by amazing people, so…
'Is being a Navigator enough? Just like I was then?'
Steering and controlling the spaceship was an important job, of course, but Rea still found it lacking.
'Even before Cero joined us, the problem wasn't getting to where we were going. Surviving and fighting in the wilderness was the problem. Whether it was on Tyl or Serolia, I mostly stayed onboard. Florina was the first close call, when that whatever the fuck mind controlled Liz and took over her body. I couldn't do anything then. I couldn't help in the least. The sa is true for the other wild Planets. I stayed inside because there was no way I could be useful outside, just dead weight…'
The thought annoyed her to no end, and telling herself that different people have different roles didn't help.
'I can't long for that kind of life and be useless on the field.' Rea sat up, scratching her chin with a complicated expression, and asked herself what Cero would think about the situation. "Agh…" She sighed, finding him not helpful at all. 'Cero would probably say that I don't need to be useful on the field, that being a Navigator is enough, and that I shouldn't push myself to take more risks… BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT I NEED RIGHT NOW AT ALL!'
Her back fell back on the grass.
'I can't be like Liz. Her physical abilities are far beyond anything I could achieve even with years of training. I can't shoot with Roka's accuracy either, and that's without counting her own physical abilities surpassed only by Liz. I'm not a soldier or a markswoman, so what can I do?' She asked herself. 'I don't need to copy them or try to beco like them, I'll only turn into a downgraded version of them. Yes… I need my own thing…'
Rea's eyes narrowed as she thought back to their ti on Serolia, Tyl, Florina…
'My own thing, sothing only I can bring to the group…'
Rea went deeper into thought and,
Bzzzt-
"...?"
[You have received one ssage.]
[Sender: Depraved Science Bitch.]
'What does Raya want? Sothing about the Syndicate?'
Rea clicked, and the ssage appeared.
[Hey, ran into so trouble, need money, lend so? Or better yet, give so?]
Rea froze as she read the ssage over and over again, left eyelid twitching nervously.
My own thing, sothing only I can bring to the group…
"Apart from money, you fucking bitch!" Rea shouted, flinging her phone away. "If you needed money, you should've just taken those sponsorships during the banquet as Liz and Roka did!"
She sighed and crossed her arms.
"Guess surprising Cero ant more to her."
Rea remained on the ground for a bit longer before tapping her thighs and standing up.
'With my own individual abilities, what can I do…?' She wondered, walking towards the phone she had tossed.

"Well, hello there," Raya muttered with a gulp.
"50K?!" Rina shouted, seeing her sister's screen. "No questions asked? She just sent the money?!"
"Hihi, I have pretty generous friends." Raya nodded. "Plus, I am very trustworthy."
"I guess." The older sister shrugged.
'I have to say though,' Raya scratched her chin. 'I didn't expect to get any money, let alone 50K.'
***
'Caring so little about money that you need to ask for it so bluntly despite having left so much of it on the table just to surprise Cero,' Rea chuckled. 'I guess Raya is amazing in her own right.'
