While Rio was busy contemplating various things in his mind, Alverto walked out of the house and looked at Aurora, who was humming a sweet lody while cooking with a gentle smile.

Over the past few months, not only did he recover and beco stronger, but his relationship with Aurora also beca much closer.

Now the two of them can even understand each other by just looking at their expressions.

Aurora was a true gentle soul.

He walked over to Aurora’s side and sat down quietly, listening to her sweet voice.

Aurora smiled at him and continued humming with her usual happy look.

"How is it that you stay so happy all the ti... how are you able to smile all the ti... you are really such a weird demon... Are you even a demon at all?"

Hearing Alverto’s questions, Aurora wasn’t angry at all; she smiled slightly and spoke with her usual gentle tone.

"Hehe, perhaps this is what makes unique, or perhaps it’s because I enjoy life to the fullest?"

Aurora glanced at the cloudy dark sky, and a look of curiosity and excitent appeared on her face.

"When I was a low-rank demon, I could only stay with my tribe for food and protection, but now I don’t have to follow them everywhere..."

"I don’t have to worry about food, as I can easily hunt with magic and fill my stomach with properly cooked at..."

"I am free to wander around, I am free to stay wherever I want to, I am free to do whatever I want to do..."

Aurora looked into Alverto’s eyes and spoke gently.

"Life is all about living the way you want to; it’s about enjoying every mont of it so that you don’t regret anything later..."

"I can always smile because I have no worries and nothing that might put a burden on my soul..."

As Aurora said, she was happy and carefree; she could create a new house anywhere with magic, and she could wander to any place and live a carefree life with her powers.

She’s a high-rank demon, and her bloodline has evolved to be equal to that of a royal demon; she has a long lifespan and has all the powers that she could ever hope for.

Achieving this much has already fulfilled most of her goals in life, in fact.

Alverto was srized by Aurora; it was as if he had heard so great enlightening words from a saint, and each and every word shook his soul to the core.

Seeing him in such a state, Aurora smiled and put out the fire before standing up.

"Let’s take a walk... today it didn’t snow much and it’s a good day to relax a bit..."

After saying that, Aurora walked away. Seeing her like that, Alverto had no choice but to follow behind her.

The two of them walked at a leisurely pace; the cold breeze brushed past them, and the falling snow made the environnt extrely calm and peaceful.

It snows all year long on the demon continent; most of the continent is covered in thick layers of snow, and even snowstorms happen often.

It’s near impossible for most species to survive on this continent, but for demons, this much temperature is nothing.

Demons have powerful vitality and have extrely high physical resistance; compared to the continuous corruption of miasma, surviving in low temperature is just child’s play for them.

Due to this, most demons nowadays don’t invade other continents for the sake of a better living environnt; they just invade for the sake of violence and bloodshed.

They are content living in this harsh environnt, as the cold doesn’t really bother them that much.

Just when Alverto and Aurora were taking a leisurely walk, a small rabbit-like creature jumped out from a burrow located under a dried tree.

It looked similar to rabbits that were found in the human empire; the only difference was that it had a horn on its head and miasma flowed in its body.

"A blue horned rabbit, it’s so cute..."

Aurora’s eyes shone looking at that cute furball, and she imdiately grabbed it with swift movents.

Blue horn rabbits are demonic beasts of the lowest rank; they are weak and are mostly considered prey for various types of demons on the demon continent.

The only reason they haven’t gone extinct yet is because they have a very powerful reproduction ability and they multiply fast.

As the blue horn rabbit is a weak, low-level creature, it was imdiately intimidated by Aurora’s presence.

Even though she didn’t consciously use her presence to pressure the small creature, just because of the unconsciously leaking aura, the little guy was frightened out of its wits.

It couldn’t even resist and stood still for Aurora to easily take hold of it.

She smiled happily as she hugged it lightly and patted its soft back with a gentle smile on her beautiful face.

Alverto couldn’t take his eyes off her; it was as if his eyes refused to look away. He was attracted to that carefree lifestyle of hers.

"You are really sothing else... I kind of envy you..."

He shook his head and sighed in defeat.

Aurora didn’t say anything but kept walking beside him while continuing to pet the small furball.

Alverto sighed again, and after a long ti of hesitation, he finally spoke in a very tentative tone.

"As you know, I am a demon prince; royal demon blood flows in my body..."

"My father, who’s the current Demon King, has the ability to sense the state of all of his children..."

"He likely knows that I am still alive and am living sowhere in the demon continent..."

"I don’t think he can pinpoint my location but he can likely sense the general direction of where I am staying... and as a peak SS ranker, he can easily use his sense to find easily..."

Alverto stared at the dark and cloudy sky as he walked slowly; a look of helplessness appeared on his face.

"Among my siblings I was the weakest one; I couldn’t awaken my talent until recently and was very timid and spineless..."

"I had no ambition or a goal to achieve; you can say that I was ’Pathless’... my siblings used to laugh at and mock for my coward nature..."

"I ran away from a duel where they would have completely killed and devoured my body to improve their own strength..."

Alverto’s shoulders dropped as if he was carrying a heavy burden on them while talking about all of this.

As Alverto poured his heart out, the two of them reached a hilltop while walking.

For the first ti in several months, Aurora ntioned that ’Being’ and spoke with a determined tone.
