Snegnar instinctively tried to attack that unknown person with a punch, but his hand went right through the other party’s body and didn’t have any effect.
"Wh-what!? What the heck are you!?"
Before Snegnar could understand what was going on, he saw a massive greatsword with a blunt edge appear in the other party’s hand.

The blunt edge of the massive sword hit Snegnar directly in the chest, but strangely the sword just hit him very lightly.
It didn’t even seem to have any power to cut or do any real damage at all, yet the mont Snegnar’s body ca in contact with that sword, he stumbled backward and fell down on his own.
His entire body started to twitch, and he started struggling and flailing with a look of horror and fear in his unfocused eyes.
Sara was shocked at that scene, and she even forgot her despair and sadness for a mont.
"Wha... what is?..."
She looked at Snegnar, who was struggling with a look of shock, and she couldn’t fathom what just happened.
Snegnar is an S-ranker, a powerful being capable of leveling cities, destroying mountains, and parting seas at a whim, yet he was crying and struggling like a helpless child from that weak-looking attack.
She glanced at the unknown person standing near her and felt a bit frightened after seeing that creepy-looking demon mask and that odd style of robe covering his body.
The unknown man looked like he was a demon who had crawled out of so kind of hell; even his entire body was covered in a dark aura.
"It seems I was late... I apologize for being late; I am very sorry that you had to go through all of this..."
"You can relax now... I will deal with this ’criminal.’"
The unknown person’s voice was hoarse and uncomfortable to hear, but for so reason, Sara felt reassured after hearing his words.
An overwhelming sense of safety embraced her. She felt that as long as this person was standing beside her, nothing could harm her anymore.
That sense of security was so sweet and warm that Sara couldn’t help but start crying her heart out like a small child who had suffered a lot.
Seeing her cry like that, the person in the robe was a bit startled, but then he stretched out his hand and patted her head and spoke in a reassuring tone.
"I am sorry; I didn’t make it on ti to save your loved ones. To repent for my failure, I will help you get justice."
Sara cried her heart out; she was overwheld by imnse pain and misery.
She finally managed to relax and calm down a bit after the unknown person patted her head with so kind of strange power.
With her blurry eyes that were filled with tears, Sara noticed thick electric-bolt-like currents running all over the unknown person’s body as he tried to help her.

Those thick bolts running all over his body turned a bit greenish in color, and a strong yet warm power enveloped her entire body.
Her injuries healed, and her mind relaxed.
All the damage in her body was healed in a matter of seconds. Looking at those thunder-like bolts, Sara felt an odd sense of familiarity.
Due to the previous incident, her mind was not in the right condition, but after being healed, her emotions cald down and the fluctuations in her sea of consciousness stabilized.
She finally rembered that she knew these familiar thunderbolts running across the other person body.
"Y-you... you are t-The ’Dark Star’?"
Her voice was hesitant, and she was stuttering over and over, but she managed to resolve her courage to ask that question.
"Oh? You know ? Yes, I am Rio Flash. I am actually on a mission to hunt these criminals right now..."
Rio stopped using sword intent to change his voice and used his real voice to reply this ti, which caused Sara’s eyes to widen in surprise.
She imdiately hugged Rio and started crying her heart out.
"Ah, my mom... my dad... Everyone is gone! I hate it... I hate this..."
"What did I do to deserve this... mom, dad... why... they were so happy; they were so proud of ... I couldn’t even do anything for them..."
Sara cried her heart out, and her face was covered in tears and snot.
After finding that Rio was the hero and idol she always liked, she couldn’t stop herself from collapsing.
That sense of security finally let her vent her emotions.
She cried and cried until she was out of energy and fainted on the spot.
Rio sighed, looking at this scene, and scratched the back of his neck in awkwardness.
’Er... If Lia knew that a girl hugged ... I might have to face severe consequences...’
As Sara fell asleep, Rio used his psychokinesis ability as an S-ranker to control her body and placed her on the couch in the other room.
She was already unconscious from too much stress and trauma; there was no need to disturb her.
After dealing with Sara, Rio finally ca over to Snegnar’s side, who was still writhing in pain and agony.
He was thrashing his limbs all around madly as he was trying to escape sothing.
His face was pale, and his entire body was sweating like crazy; he crawled on the blood-stained ground like a helpless person.
Despite being an S-ranker, he looked so pathetic at that mont that Rio could only shake his head at that.
’In the end, you are just low-level garbage... nothing else...’
Rio gave Snegnar a light kick and stopped his sword intent from further torturing him.
Snegnar finally stopped writhing and ca back to his senses; his eyes beca focused, and the first thing he saw was Rio squatting near him and looking at his face closely.
"AHHH! S-stay away from !!! AHHHHH! NOOOO!!! AHHHH!"
He was so frightened of Rio that he nearly had a seizure from seeing Rio so close to him.
He hurriedly used his threads to attack Rio, but it was all futile.

Before those threads could even attack Rio, his sword transford into a short sword, and he stabbed it into Snegnar’s heart.
Oddly though, there was no stab wound created, and that sword pierced his body without causing any physical harm.
"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
Although there were no physical wounds, the sword had directly hit Snegnar’s soul and had caused a minor fracture in it.
"Hmm, the effect of this skill on S-rankers is still very small... I could only do minimal damage..."
"Soul-shattering skill is indeed more effective when dealing with souls... still, for torture and slow damage, this skill is more effective..."
Rio has a habit of copying and recreating skills using ’Elental Sword Art.’
Thus, he copied the ’Soul Shattering’ technique, which is etched in his sword, and made a weaker version of it.
Now, even if Rio loses his sword and is unable to do the soul-splitting technique, he can still attack souls with just his techniques alone.
Although the effects are not strong enough, it is still a small achievent.

"Did you stop when others begged you for rcy? Did you show rcy to others?"
Rio’s emotionless words caused Snegnar’s eyes to widen in shock, but Rio did not stop at all.
Like a demon, he was rciless.
