’Can I... mimic Lia’s ability to predict the flow of miasma, and a being’s soul fluctuation change like her?’
Obviously, Rio was already adept at sensing others’ soul fluctuations and was even able to read them when making direct contact through his sword or his hands with others.
But unlike Lia, Rio couldn’t do that from a faraway distance.
Lia was able to do it from a very far away range, and she could read others’ fate even if you weren’t in her direct line of sight and were just in a specific range of her.
Rio could not do sothing like that; he needed close-range contact for that.
’No no... Lia could actually even predict the future of herself too using her own strings of destiny... I can’t do that; her future sight skill is leagues above my soul reading ability...’
’But what if I can upgrade my soul reading ability to be even closer to her foresight ability?’
Ever since they all beca friends, Rio has copied many of the skills from his lovely friends one by one, and he wasn’t worried about them getting angry at him for copying their skills.
Especially, Lia won’t get upset at him for sothing like this.
’Strings of destiny... how do I read them though?...’
Rio couldn’t copy that, as it was too unique to Lia, and he was completely incapable of reading the strings of destiny as of now.
So, he went with the other two options.
Reading the flow of miasma in the body of the massive dragon tree and its soul fluctuations and predicting them.
’All SS-rankers use soul fluctuations and mind power to use their world authority... what if, I make a skill that targets their usage of soul fluctuations and mind power directly?’
’Will I be able to restrict SS-rankers from using their world authority then? Or even weakening its strength for so ti?’
Thinking about this matter, Rio finally got up and took a stance as his mind worked fast, and he imdiately decided to do experints on this matter.

This ti Rio was serious, and he even turned his flute back into its sword form just to give his mind extra focus.

Rio used the soul fluctuations of the gigantic dragon tree that had unconsciously co out of the range of its world authority and tried to create an ’Error’ through them.
A person’s soul fluctuations are their own, so of course they will bypass their own world authority without any problem.
Rio used that logic and tried to redirect the soul fluctuations as an attack back to the main body’s mind and soul!
And just like Rio had expected, the soul fluctuation of the dragon tree boosted with Rio’s sword intent bypassed the world authority restrictions and hit the body and soul of the gigantic dragon tree!
There were dozens and dozens of souls and consciousnesses inside that humongous body; Rio targeted a very small soul fragnt, and his attack worked miraculously!
The soul fragnt shattered on the spot, clearly eliminating that particular soul and consciousness!
"Ohhhh!!! I can actually do real damage to SS-rankers now!! As always! You are the best, Lia!"
Although the damage was minimal and barely enough to be called a mosquito-sting-level attack to that gigantic being’s body and soul, it was Rio’s first successful attack against a literal demigod!

The ground and the space-ti fabric trembled as the humongous being finally moved for the first ti in several centuries!
Dozens of massive dragon heads that were staring at the distant sky continuously finally moved, and all of them looked at the mosquito-sized Rio, who was standing on a boulder holding a pitch-black sword in his hand.
Hundreds of eyes all over that humongous body, all focused on Rio and Rio alone at the sa ti, causing Rio to feel a bit nervous.
’Err... Did I just stir the hornets’ nest by doing this?’
Although Rio felt nervous, he didn’t regret his actions one bit; after all, there was no other way he could have changed the current situation.
Rio had no other option but to find a way to bypass the humongous monstrosity’s defenses, and to do that, he needed this new skill of his.
If the huge tree hadn’t reacted this fast to Rio’s attack, he would have actually liked to do a few more tests and experints, but now he had to think about his escape routes.
’I can use those SS-rank attacks of principal Raji to create a distraction and then escape by shattering the space-ti fabric and jumping into the cracks...’
’That will throw out to so random location in the universe but I can use teleportation scroll to go back in that case...’

Just when Rio was thinking about escaping, the biggest dragon head among the dozens of shadow dragon heads looking at him slowly opened its eyes, and a sudden look of clarity appeared in its gigantic eyes.
At that mont, Rio noticed a sudden surge of pure soul fluctuations rise in that head’s mind, and for a mont the miasmic corruption in its body was suppressed to the very lowest levels possible.
[You?.... You have finally returned, King Allen?... I have waited for this day, for more than 1500 years!]
[I am glad you are back... I have waited so long that I do not rember anything aside from your final commandnt...]
[So, tell ... were you victorious in your final gamble against the ’Sea of Endless Miasma’?]
Rio did not know dragon language, but he could clearly understand all those words, as the giant dragon head was using telepathy to talk to him right now.
His words carried tiredness, sadness, regret, and a lot of curiosity too; he seed to have mistaken Rio for King Allen Von Reinhart.
’Shall I tell him that I am not who he’s been waiting for?... but wouldn’t that be too cruel though... I broke his focus and now he’s using his final strength to talk to ...’
’It will all go to waste now and he will die holding regrets if I told him the truth...’
At that mont, Lia’s words rang out in Rio’s mind.
{No matter how bitter the truth is, you should tell only the truth... telling a sweet lie is crueller than telling a bitter truth...}
Thinking about those words, Rio could only sigh helplessly.
’You always co barging in my mind at tis like these... well, I am thankful for that though...’

Rio shook his head in helplessness as he replied in a calm voice,
"I am not King Allen Von Reinhart, who you are waiting for. I am Rio Flash, a humble swordsman. I ca here in search of a shadow dragon..."
"Her na is Elisia Mistilteinn! As for King Allen... he’s been missing since the end of the thousand-year demon extinction war!"
"I am sorry for waking you up so rudely, but as far as I know, King Allen likely never returned from the Sea of Endless Miasma!"
