While Lia was busy chatting with the new friend she made in the sea of consciousness, the outside world was also going through a lot of turmoil.

By ’wet demon,’ Rio was referring to Rahn, who was able to use a pseudo-legendary skill related to water manipulation and was turned into a ’cube’ of horror as punishnt!
Kai, whose face was pressed on the ground with sword intent, felt a chill run down his spine after rembering the fate of that poor fellow.
That demon t more of a horrible end than Kai had even thought was possible!
Rio literally morphed his soul into sothing that could only scream in agony and live in misery for as long as it existed, and he did it all with such efficiency and so effortlessly that it was terrifying!
Soul-type attacks are one of the most dangerous and fatal types of attacks when used against spirit beasts like him!
And to Kai’s bad luck, Rio had both sword intent and soul manipulation at the sa ti!
He was basically a spirit-killing machine that could easily do fatal damage to even early SS-rank spirit beings with his current strength, let alone a weakened Kai who’s not even capable of manifesting his powers without Lia’s will!

Rio’s statent made Kai’s entire body shiver in fright as he realized that Rio was being dead serious at the mont!
The cape that Lia was using as her bedsheet right now was proof that Rio had been granted the title of ’Hell-Walker’ because he traveled through the hellish spirit realm just to save a friend of his!
If he can do that much for Liam, there’s no knowing what Rio can do for Lia’s sake!

While Rio was busy scolding the two pitiful fellows, little Bela ca running out of the temple with Nova and the twin fairies, Lyria and Miria.
All the other fairies had already retreated from the temple and had used an ergency teleportation portal opened by Nova to take away all important things stored in the temple of nature.
Nova refused to retreat and told Lyria and Miria to take Bela away, but Bela also didn’t want to abandon Lia, who was fighting for their sake, so they all remained in the temple till the end.
Rio, who had read through the mories of the dead fairy souls in this battlefield, already knew who Nova and the others were, so he didn’t feel surprised when he saw them.
But the little fellows were definitely shocked when they saw Rio for the first ti!
"Y-you... wh-what are you!? Wha!?"
Nova’s expression went pale the mont she laid her eyes on Rio; Lyria and Miria straight up fainted on the spot, and Bela halted her footsteps as she felt intimidated by Rio’s fierce aura.
Seeing this scene, Rio suppressed his anger and stopped unleashing his aura and sword intent so as to not cause misunderstandings.
Kai and Jas finally breathed a sigh of relief after Rio stopped pressuring them with his sword intent and collapsed on the ground, exhausted.
"haa... huff... so... this is sword intent, the legendary skill of the strongest S-ranker of our nation..."
"No wonder all criminals were running around in fear and screaming that being caught by ’Dark Star Rio’ is worse than being caught by Ashtel Rex..."
Jas wasn’t upset that Rio scolded him because it was his mistake that he got caught in a tough spot the mont he entered the dungeon and got sealed before he could even et up with Lia.
If Rio hadn’t co, he might have beco stuck in this dungeon forever!
Although Rio was angry at him, he still saved Jas’s life, as Jas was Lia’s father. Even if he was a useless fellow most of the ti, Rio had to show at least so respect to him for Lia’s sake.
"You get it too now, right? This fella is inhumane! It’s unbelievable how your daughter has him wrapped around her fingers like that!"
"He’s definitely not the type to listen to anyone generally..."
Jas also nodded his head at Kai’s words and replied,
"Yeah, sotis I also feel surprised that my daughter is actually such a genius that she’s got one of the most insane fellas of our nation completely under control!"
"It’s like she looked at him and said, ’Yeah, I can fix that!...’ It’s quite shocking..."
