The few people continue eating, and before long, a house servant reports at the door, "Young master, there’s a letter for you."
Guo Feng takes the letter, and upon seeing the writing on the envelope, he bursts out laughing.
Madam Guo, noticing her son’s expression, asks, "Whose letter is it?"
"It’s a letter from Xiangxiang. I wonder what instructions she has for this ti?" Guo Feng replies teasingly. Xiangxiang doesn’t usually write to him for no reason, perhaps she’s putting him to the test again.
"Quick, see what it says!" Hearing it’s a letter from Xiangxiang, Madam Guo is quite pleased. She really likes that girl, Xiangxiang, but unfortunately, she and her son weren’t ant to be together.
Guo Feng opens the letter and sees the content. The corners of his mouth curl up slightly; just as he thought, Xiangxiang is giving him instructions again.
"What does it say?" Madam Guo asks anxiously.
"Xiangxiang says her sister is coming to Lin County and asks to take care of her." The letter also states that Li Fugui is looking for soone he loves, saying that Li Fugui’s experience is similar to his, implying they might beco friends upon eting.
Guo Feng chuckles at the thought of becoming friends upon eting? If they t, they’d be sworn enemies.
Can Xiangxiang ever stop ddling? Isn’t there already enough chaos?
"Sister? Since when did Xiangxiang have a sister? How co I didn’t know?" Madam Guo asks, puzzled.
"I don’t know either. The letter doesn’t say, but I think it might be her sister-in-law." Guo Feng speculates, considering Xiangxiang doesn’t have many relatives. If she says sister, it might be Chu Lian’s sister.
"Well, we have to entertain her properly. Did she say when she’ll arrive?" Madam Guo asks again.
"Not ntioned in the letter."
Madam Guo’s chatterbox opens at the ntion of Xiangxiang, "That girl Xiangxiang hasn’t co to our house this year. I thought that once she married into the Han Family, I’d see her often. But no, on the wedding day, the bride changed, strangely it was said to be Xiangxiang."
Guo Feng was surprised by this as well. He thought his good friend marrying Xiangxiang seed fine, but he didn’t expect her to be whisked away by Chu Lian halfway through. He, however, noticed that Chu Lian truly has feelings for Xiangxiang. "Xiangxiang seems to have married well now."
"You’re right, the Chu Family’s business is much bigger than the Han Family’s." Madam Guo sighs, then suddenly thinks of sothing and continues, "Oh, Xiangxiang is now the young mistress of the Yuelai Restaurant. Given our relationship, I think I can ask her to get Chef Jiang, especially to cook for Xiaotian."
Hearing this, Xiaotian’s body instinctively tenses up. She’s a bit scared; she doesn’t want any further dealings with Li Fugui.

Seeing Madam Guo sowhat grumble, Xiaotian apologetically says, "Mom, really, it’s unnecessary. I heard Chef Jiang has taught the kitchen maid how to cook. The dishes she makes now are quite delicious. If people outside know I’m pregnant and still seek a big chef, they’ll talk."
"Fine, let’s listen to you guys. You just take care of my grandson well."
