"Grandpa, Grandma, we’re back!"
The family was happily chatting inside when they heard the shouts of the three little ones—they were back from school. Xiaoxiao quickly went out to greet them, "You’re back?"
"Auntie!" The three kiddos were overjoyed to see Xiaoxiao and ran up to hug her, "Auntie, you’re back! We missed you so much."
"Auntie missed you too." Xiaoxiao was equally happy, holding the little ones, "Quick, co inside. Your little brother is here too."
Kids love other kids. Hearing that Little Liufu was there, they quickly followed her inside and climbed onto the bed to play with him.
Seeing the whole family so happy together, the old father, Yang, was truly delighted, "Wife, hurry up and prepare dinner."
"Alright, I’m on it." Yang Ming’s mother replied and went to cook with the eldest son’s wife and the second son’s wife.
The reason the whole family was present that day was because the governnt office was coming. The Village Chief said that families with babies born this year had to wait at ho for the governnt to confirm everything, even if the children weren’t there.
It just so happened that Yang Ming and Xiaoxiao, along with their family of three, had returned that day—a real coincidence.
"Dad, I’ll go see if there’s any help needed." The eldest son, Yang Chun, felt restless seeing only a few n left in the room and not doing any work.
"Go on, all of you go. Help out so things can move faster. Go see if the Village Chief has any at, buy so back," instructed the old father, Yang.
The eldest, Yang Chun, the second, Yang Gang, and the fourth, Yang Dong, all went out.
Seeing Little Liufu playing happily with the three kids, Xiaoxiao asked the old father to help watch over them while she and Yang Ming went back to their room.
After all, they had been away for nearly two months. No one had lived in their room during that ti, and even though the eldest sister-in-law helped clean, the room still needed a thorough cleaning.
Yang Ming filled the water tanks and was washing a rag when he saw his wife already sweeping the dust with a broom. He quickly took the broom from her, "Wife, let do this. You just sit there and watch."
Xiaoxiao knew Yang Ming was being considerate and didn’t want her to work, "What will I do just sitting there? Let’s finish quickly together."
"Watch !"
"Watch you for what?" Xiaoxiao said, speechless. His ego seed to be growing.
"Watch because I’m good looking."
Xiaoxiao pretended to gag, then snatched the broom from Yang Ming and continued sweeping.
Seeing his wife pretend to gag, Yang Ming was a bit unhappy. He felt a little rejected, "Wife, you used to always say I was good looking."
Xiaoxiao rolled her eyes at him, "Hurry up and finish so we can rest early tonight."
Hearing this, Yang Ming seed to rember sothing, and with a cheeky smile, he happily agreed, "Got it!"
Quickly, the two of them had cleaned the room spotless, and dinner was ready. After eating, Xiaoxiao took Little Liufu back to their room.
Yang Ming started boiling water for the evening bath.
After nightfall, Xiaoxiao lulled Little Liufu to sleep, took a bath, and comfortably lay down on the bed.
She hadn’t been lying there for more than a few minutes when Yang Ming ca into the room. She was surprised at how quick his bath was.
Just as she was about to speak, Yang Ming jumped on her, "Wife, hurry up, let’s make the most of our ti."
