Li Chuntao was restless all day, wanting to know if Yang Dong’s fever had subsided.
She couldn’t go to the Yang Family’s house to check, though the second sister-in-law had invited her, she restrained herself from going.

Seeing Li Chuntao continue to play, Yang Dong took his leave too. Though he wanted to say thank you, as a man, it was better not to enter soone else’s yard improperly, especially since Yang Xiaocui’s house is right next door.
After Yang Dong left, Li Chuntao continued playing in the yard and did not visit the old Yang Family’s house.
Her music attracted the local children, who crowded at the doorway, extrely delighted because, in this countryside place, such sounds were not just rare, they were non-existent.
Li Chuntao, preoccupied with thoughts of newly departed Yang Dong, was playing the zither chanically and did not notice the children gathered at the door.
Alu noticed, but seeing her lady engrossed in playing, couldn’t bear to disturb her.
