Michael had no choice but to let Fudge have what he wanted. He deserved it after all.

He imdiately purchased the [Ally Weapon] upgrade for Fudge, spending the one drop of Soo that he got in exchange for 10,000 Sand Dollars, leaving him with only 21,523 left.

[What shape would you like this weapon to be?] ChatJK5 asked him.

Give him the cloak.

[Understood. I will be using Fudge’s preference to build the Mithril Artifact weapon...]

The Mini Drone shot off of the Main Drone’s dock, with its fra disassembling into nanoparticles. It beca a black sheet, slowly conforming to the design of a rogue’s cape.

Fudge happily accepted his new ’weapon’, donning it imdiately.

"WOAAHHH! COOL!"

Despite the purpose of a ninja cloak being stealth and reducing visibility, this cloak was very gaudy and a bit oversized for Fudge, with a few inches of its bottom scraping the floor behind him. Then again, this cloak wasn’t necessarily for form rather than style.

"It’s perfect, Master!" said Fudge, performing a few ninja stances, standing up on one leg, and running through water with his blobby hands falling behind him.

Michael just shook his head, chuckling to himself. Although he lost his Mini Drone for Fudge, seeing that look on the little sli’s face made it well worth it.

To replace the Mini Drone, I’ll have to purchase the [Drone Hive] option.

That upgrade, worth 2 drops, would allow him to purchase as many Mini Drones as he wanted with the very fair price of 1 Soo drop per drone.

I’ll need to get more Soo drops soon. If the Dragonborns start to awaken their Divas, then I’ll need to give them their own Mini Drone weapons. And if I want to advance their cultivation stages, I’ll need even more Sand Dollars to buy GodForge pieces. That’s not even counting the GodForge pieces I need to advance my own cultivation!

Haunted by this great need for Soo drops, Michael knew that he had to co up with more ways to earn Sand Dollars.

Should I build a rollercoaster for the Vampires?

His best earner, by a long mile, was the rollercoaster, especially since it was priced at one Sand Dollar per ride. However, he noticed that barely any of the Vampires visited ’Into Cthulhu’s Void’. If they did visit it, then they’d only try it one ti due to its novelty. It just didn’t capture their hearts like it did with the rn.

If he could make a rollercoaster that catered to the Vampires, then he’d be tapping into a completely new market!

The question is... what do Vampires like?

anwhile, deep in the night, six figures clad in shadowy cloaks stood atop a rooftop that overlooked the quiet skyline of tropolis. They were positioned in a circle, facing away from each other and maximizing the field of view they had of the territory.

Their pale skin shined in the moonlight, yet the people below them had no idea they were even there.

They were Vampires. But there was sothing different about these beastfolk. The underlining of their cloaks were golden, which reflected off and allowed their faces to shine with a little bit of a yellow hue.

"Do any of you sense them?" one of the female Vampires said.

The Vampire kneeling next to her shook his head. "I don’t sll the scent of blood. If they had attacked by now, this place would have been reeking of it."

"Keep looking," she commanded. "Those Purists might be scumbags, but they are excellent in stealth. They’ll strike when no one else expects them."

They were here specifically because they heard news about a potential outbreak of Purists that might affect tropolis. They made sure to vet all of the Vampires visiting the Royal Continent, but it seed that a few were able to escape their net.

Knowing how those Purists operated, the powers that be sent them here via private Wyvern to make sure that no human damage would incur because of Vampires. A major capital city being massacred would not be a good look for the Vampires or beastfolks in general.

"We must find them soon. Once they infiltrate the shadows of tropolis, there’s nothing stopping them."

Ti was of the essence. With how sneaky those Purists were, even the major powers in tropolis wouldn’t even know they were there before it was too late. As for the Vampires that were already here, they would get targeted first to make sure that no one could find their lair until after they accomplished their mission.

However, as they observed the hum of tropolis, they saw no sign of the Purists making their move.

This was strange because a month should have been enough for those Purists to start their invasion. They were even half expecting tropolis to be drowning in blood, with humans becoming brainwashed to offer their own bodies for the Vampires.

"Was our information wrong?" one Vampire asked.

The female Vampire looked around until she eventually saw sothing on the corner of her eyes. She squinted, as if finding sothing peculiar.

"They were here," she said. "I know their lair when I see one."

She pointed at a dark alleyway a few kiloters away from their position. There were very faint traces of blood on the stone brick walls, showing that it once had a blood circle inscribed on it.

The fact that she was able to see such small detail despite being so far away spoke to her abilities as a Vampire. She was very strong.

"It’s either they delayed their plans or simply forgot their desire for human blood—both of which are very unlikely. They’re gone, without a trace. Soone already got to them before us," she concluded. "We won’t know what truly happened unless we ask the other Vampires. But... where are they?"

Another weird thing they noticed was the absence of the other Vampires. There were none of them here in tropolis.

Alaric Goldstone was lounging in his desk, looking over the paperwork for the Parade, when all of a sudden, he felt sothing stir in the corner of the room.

He narrowed his eyes, recognizing the group of people that were now in his room without warning.

"That’s a surprise—Royalblood Vampires in my room," he said, bowing his head slightly.

The six Vampires erged from the darkness.

"I didn’t know you guys would be visiting tropolis," he said to them, looking over the papers in his hands. "To what do we owe the honor?"

One of the female Vampires walked forward. "Purists. They’ve infiltrated tropolis."

As soon as she said that, Alaric stood straight in his chair. He knew just how serious the situation was.

"I’ll ask for the other Major Factions to scour the entire territory. I just hope we’re not too late," he said, biting his lips in worry.

"Don’t worry. They’re long gone."

Alaric finally heaved a sigh of relief. "I see. So that’s why you’re here. You’ve already taken care of them."

"No," she replied. "We didn’t do it."

"If it’s not you, then who?" Alaric asked, confused.

The Vampire woman looked at him. "We were hoping you would know."
