"..." When did his sister beco such a flatterer? However, seeing his sister’s tone and expression, she didn’t seem forced, so even though Hugh Kensington was unhappy about Sterling Norwood taking his sister away, he could only comply.
The man finally made an indistinct "mm" sound.
Selena Kensington spoke until her mouth was dry, then glared fiercely at the culprit, Hugh. She kicked Hugh, "Get in the kitchen and make dinner."
After saying that, she pulled Sterling Norwood into her room.
In the back, Hugh unhappily clicked his tongue, "It’s still dayti, you two should tone it down." With that, he walked into the kitchen.
Then, just as Hugh started cooking and washing vegetables, he noticed Sterling Norwood being kicked out of the room.
Selena stood at the door, exasperated, hands on her hips, "Get out, you beast of a man!"
Sterling, who was kicked out, looked sowhat bewildered.
Hugh, however, understood perfectly and asked skillfully, "Did you ss with my sister’s little dresses?"
Sterling was silent for a second, then nodded. He thought the dresses were too short, so even revealing a large portion of the back. The girl’s developnt was impressive, with those perfectly symtrical butterfly bones yearning to spread and fly.
There was no way Sterling would let anyone else see these beautiful sights.
Hugh sympathized with him for a mont before laughing at his misfortune, "You’ve hit a brick wall; my sister treasures those dresses and bags the most. Anyone who dares touch them gets on her bad side."
"Don’t even think you can compete with the dresses over who’s more important; it’s no contest." Hugh shrugged. His sister was capable of choosing her dresses over recognizing her own brother.
Sterling stood there in silence for a long ti and finally compromised by knocking on Selena’s door.
Inside the room, Selena had already cald down. But she couldn’t bring herself to lose face, so she just waited for Sterling to co and apologize. Sure enough, a few minutes later, there was a knock at the door.
Selena opened the door to see Sterling’s stunningly handso face, the corners of his lips slightly pursed, his azure eyes slightly dim, with a hint of grievance.
Selena couldn’t help but laugh, "Don’t feel bad. Just don’t do it again next ti."
Just don’t touch her little skirts! Selena silently added in her heart.
After coaxing him for a few words, Sterling’s expression improved. Then, he took a call.
When Selena heard Sterling ntion he had to leave, she wasn’t surprised. Ever since Sterling returned from Valoria, he’d been very busy, supposedly because the old man said that since he had a family, he should take over as Family Head.
In fact, Sterling had always been dealing with Norwood Family affairs in the shadows, but the Family Head was still officially the senior Norwood. Not only because Sterling’s situation was unique, but also because he found it all troubleso.
Inheriting the position of Family Head was a significant matter, no wonder Sterling had been busy.
"Then you should go back soon, don’t worry about here." Selena said considerately. She knew managing such a vast family like the Norwood Family must be quite a hassle.
Sterling nodded, gave Selena a Black Card before leaving, and left with several reminders.
Holding the Black Card, Selena watched Sterling’s departing figure and sighed, "He’s really becoming more and more like a nagging old lady..." The way he fretted, he was a match for Hugh.
"Sis, stop looking, he’s already gone far." Wearing an apron, Hugh looked at Selena standing at the door and rolled his eyes in exasperation.
Selena turned around to glare at Hugh and then went into the kitchen to help.
She wasn’t particularly gifted at cooking and could only lend a hand. Usually, it was Hugh who cooked at ho. The siblings reunited after a long absence, creating a particularly warm atmosphere.
At the dining table, Selena routinely asked Hugh about his schedule recently.
"Not much, Tessa Sinclair gave ti off and told to focus on military training at school. There’s been nothing lined up recently." Tessa Sinclair was Hugh’s manager, and forrly the manager of Selena and Hugh’s mother.
