Kane Blanchett maintained his composure as he spoke.
"Our family head wants to see you."
Silvester Norwood said, handing the phone to Sterling Norwood.
Then he exited the CEO’s office himself.
"This is Sterling Norwood."
Kane Blanchett, upon hearing Sterling Norwood’s voice, shuddered instinctively.
"...Hello, Patriarch Norwood, may I ask what the matter is?"
Could those rumors this morning be true?
If that’s the case... wouldn’t they then...
Sterling Norwood’s indifferent, warning voice rang out, "Patriarch Blanchett is a wise man. I don’t want to say much, but... if the Blanchett Family sets its sights on my wife, it won’t just be a phone call issue."
Kane Blanchett caught the implication in Sterling Norwood’s words.
He also knew that Sterling Norwood was absolutely not joking.

After Sterling Norwood hung up the call,

The two sisters called out.
Kane Blanchett nodded, "Sit."
After the sisters sat down, Kane Blanchett then slowly looked them over.
Previously, he’d focused all his energy on his eldest daughter, and now, in retrospect, he realized he’d neglected his younger daughter.
Now, the reputation of the eldest daughter was unsalvageable, but at least she was still the top socialite of Aethelgard.
Marrying into the Norwood Family branch wasn’t an issue.

Kane Blanchett’s face darkened, "You didn’t want to implicate the family?! Do you know that Patriarch Norwood just called and asked for an explanation!"
"Catherine, tell , for the sake of the family... what should I do?!"
Kane Blanchett’s words were already forcing Catherine Blanchett to make a statent.
Catherine Blanchett’s face turned pale; she never expected Sterling Norwood to take such drastic action over those rumors.
"Father, Father, I realize my mistake. Please give a chance!"
Catherine Blanchett hurriedly pleaded.
All her reliance was on the Blanchett Family; if they abandoned her, what would she have left to compete with Selena Kensington?!
Kane Blanchett closed his eyes, and when he reopened them, he had made a decision, "Isn’t there a young man from the Norwood Family branch who quite likes you? I don’t care what thod you use, make him marry you."
