She still carried the weight of responsibility.
Sterling Norwood didn’t ask her further, and Selena Kensington didn’t continue the topic.

The next day.
The Santa Maria stayed at the port of the Isle of Cyrin.
The distinguished guests disembarked one by one, choosing to remain silent about the events of the previous night.
After all, no one wanted to offend the Colombo Family over a crumbling dynasty.
Selena and her companions got off the ship.
Sterling Norwood and Hughes conversed on the side.
"Yesterday, I talked with Alessio; the expansion of the Colombo has beco unstoppable..."
"But outside of The Northern Realm, there are a few stubborn entities; I think their expansion won’t be too smooth..."
Selena paused upon hearing Hughes’ words.
Could it be that in a previous life, Samuel Dalton died amidst the expansion?
She couldn’t help but look back towards the ship.
At the exit of the Santa Maria, Samuel Dalton, still wearing his mask, stood there.
He was always watching Selena.
Seeing her look back, he smiled with delight.
Silently mouthed the words, ’Farewell, sister.’
Selena also smiled at him slightly, then turned away.
She seed to possess no power to do anything for him, just hoped... this ti, he could escape the fate of his past life.
Sterling Norwood and Hughes had finished talking.
Hughes bid farewell to Selena, "Sister-in-law, we shall part here then. I’ll present your eting gift next ti we et."
"There’s no need to be so formal."
Selena chuckled slightly, her eyes revealing a touch of helplessness.
Why did it seem like everyone wanted to give her a gift?
First Silas Sinclair, and now Hughes.
Afterwards, the two boarded the car arranged by Hughes and headed to the airport on the Isle of Cyrin.
After Selena and the others had left, Mrs. Anna approached her son.
She patted Samuel Dalton’s shoulder.
"Stop looking, they’re gone."
She sighed.
Samuel Dalton silently glanced at his mother.
Mrs. Anna, undeterred by her son’s coldness, continued with interest.
"I’m really curious what Albert did to her yesterday that made you so uncharacteristically furious..."
Last night, after Colombo Family mbers took away those from the Gailo Family, Samuel Dalton personally inflicted torture on Albert.
He had him placed in a specially-designed box.
Then, subrged him directly into the aquarium aboard the Santa Maria.
The Santa Maria’s huge aquarium housed an extrely ferocious shark species from The Zephyr Sea, known for its teeth that could bite through regular ships.
And in the Santa Maria’s aquarium, there were three such sharks.
The trio of sharks repeatedly ramd into the box trapping Albert, even warping and distorting the glass on impact.
Albert passed out from terror due to the massive collisions, after which Samuel Dalton had him brought up.
Afterwards, he was put into the tank with piranhas.
Albert was awakened by pain again and again.
Every ti he fainted, he was revived by pain.
By the ti the piranhas had torn his flesh to shreds, Samuel Dalton had him rescued.
The entire tank was awash with the bright red blood flowing from Albert’s body.
Dyeing the whole tank.
His eyes, originally shot by a bullet, compounded by the intimidation of those three sharks and the torture by the piranhas.
If Samuel Dalton hadn’t given him special drugs beforehand, he wouldn’t have survived.
He needed to be tortured slowly.
Unable to die, yet unable to live.
He wanted him to wish he were dead.
