The reporters scrambled to surround them.
Selena Kensington frowned slightly, looking at them as if they were eyeing a piece of delicious at, a hint of disgust flickering in her eyes.
She raised her voice, a chilly tone carried through, "If you don’t want to lose your jobs, just try and stop ."
"I think I have that kind of power."
After Selena said these two sentences, the reporters who intended to rush up and block her from leaving were suddenly frozen in place.
They just rembered that Selena’s presence would certainly be big news.
But they forgot that Selena wasn’t soone they could stop as they pleased.
The forces behind her were not sothing they dared to provoke.
Seeing that they sensibly stayed put, Selena didn’t bother with them anymore and directly took the elevator down to the lobby on the first floor.
As soon as she stepped out of the elevator, she went to the front desk and instructed, "Send a few people to clear out the reporters in the underground parking. Don’t let them sneak in!"
"If there’s anyone unreasonable causing trouble, feel free to throw them out. Don’t be polite to them."
The receptionist froze for a mont, "Yes, Miss Kensington."
Selena glanced at the circles of reporters outside, her brows furrowing even more tightly.
"Shut the main gate directly. Ignore the reporters outside."
"Yes."
If it weren’t for the heavy workload of the security team today, requiring a lot of manpower just to maintain order in the lobby, those few that slipped through wouldn’t have infiltrated the underground parking.
After giving her orders, Selena turned and entered the elevator, heading to the floor where Hugh Kensington was.
As soon as she walked out of the elevator, Hugh’s assistant greeted her.
"Miss Kensington, you’re here. The CEO and others are waiting for you."
Selena nodded, "Got it. Go ahead with your work."
"Alright."
Then, Selena walked into the office alone.
Inside the office, Hugh Kensington, Tessa Sinclair, and Sloane Hawthorne were there.
When Selena walked in, Sloane was sitting alone on the sofa, while Tessa and Hugh were discussing how to resolve the matter.
Upon hearing the sound from behind, Tessa and Hugh looked over.

She called out nervously.
Selena noticed Sloane’s eyes were slightly red, as if she had just cried.

As soon as Sloane called out ’sister’, she wanted to explain to Selena.
But she barely managed a word when Selena raised her hand to stop her from continuing.

Selena spoke calmly.
Sloane looked incredulously wide-eyed.
While Tessa exchanged a glance with Hugh.

Sloane’s voice was sowhat bitter.
From the mont she discovered those things about her were exposed online, Sloane went from shock and panic to only worrying about Selena’s thoughts.
She was afraid that Selena would be disappointed in her once she knew about it.
After all, she had always hidden it from her.
Selena shook her head slightly, "It’s only been a little while."
Then, Selena looked steadily at Sloane, "I’ve been waiting for you to tell yourself, but it’s a pity that no one expected such a thing to happen."
Subsequently, Selena turned to Hugh and Tessa.

Hugh and Tessa nodded, "Alright."

She had already fallen for him but was too cautious about her sensitive heart and pride to face her feelings.
Seeing Silas drop his guard in front of her, even accommodating her and tolerating her tantrums.
Sloane couldn’t help but fall deep.
In the end, Silas really did win her over.
