At first, Sterling thought Selena wasn’t interested, but after it happened a few tis, he started to have doubts.

After all, since her birthday, Selena hadn’t left the house.
Today, her visit to Stardust Entertainnt was the first ti she stepped out in half a month.
But seeing Selena genuinely exhausted, Sterling gave up on his thoughts.

By Saturday afternoon, Selena contacted Clent Luther.
"Where are you now?"
After leaving the main residence, Selena called Clent Luther.
"You go ahead, I still have a eting here that’s not finished."
Clent’s helpless voice ca through from the other end of the phone.
Even through the screen, Selena could hear the helplessness in his words.
Selena nodded, "Okay, I’ll head over there. Co when you’re done."
She wasn’t all that surprised.
When Sterling first officially beca the head of the Norwood Family, he was also very busy with work.
After hanging up the phone, Selena headed alone to the filming location of "Star of Entertainnt."
"Star of Entertainnt" had rented an estate on the outskirts of Aethelgard for filming.
It wasn’t far from the Norwood Family, and since there were few cars and traffic lights in the suburbs, Selena arrived in just over ten minutes.

Once she reached the estate, Selena parked her car and walked over.
As she walked, she sent a ssage to Vivian Sutton.
[Selie Stays Slim]: I’m at the entrance.
After sending the ssage, she continued forward.
At the entrance, security personnel stopped her, "Hello, please show your ID."
The security looked at Selena several tis, sowhat uncertainly, and asked, "Are you... are you Selena?!"
His tone carried a hint of surprise.
Selena smiled and nodded, "Yes."
"I’m here to visit the set."
Sotis, being recognized works better than having an ID.
The security recognized Selena and didn’t check her ID.
"Please, go ahead. Do you need soone to show you the way?"
Selena smiled and shook her head, "No, thanks."
Then she went inside.
The advantage of this estate is that it’s quite spacious.
It can accommodate contestants’ daily training and so filming sessions.
There’s a grassy clearing outfitted with training equipnt in front of the estate.
In front are the contestants’ dormitory, filming sites, and accommodation for the show staff.
After walking a short distance inside, Selena saw Vivian Sutton walking out of the dormitory.
At that ti, in this wide-open space, it was just Selena and a few sparse staff, so Vivian noticed her imdiately.
"Selie, I’m here!!!!"
Vivian then ran over.
Arriving in front of Selena, she was slightly out of breath.
"You really are a true friend, but Clem ditched !"
Vivian had just received a call from Clent Luther, so she grumbled a bit.
Selena smiled and gave her a sidelong glance.
Though Vivian was complaining about Clent, her face didn’t show any real disappointnt.
It was obvious she was saying one thing but feeling another.
Vivian linked her arm with Selena’s and they walked further in.
"Hey, why do you want to see Annelise Mayfield? Trying to poach her or sothing?"
Vivian curiously asked.
Vivian wasn’t aware of the details between Selena and the Mayfield Family, so she was curious when Selena wanted to visit the set and specifically see Annelise.
Selena shook her head slightly, "No."
"I just want to confirm so things."
To confirm Annelise Mayfield’s reason for coming to Aethelgard.
"Oh..."
Though Vivian didn’t fully understand, she didn’t ask further.
She and Selena walked into the building in front of them.
"This way."
Vivian led Selena to take a different path.
As they walked, Vivian explained to Selena, "A lot of contestants usually pass through that path. Though many have left since the semi-finals are coming, there are still quite a few people."
"You know, if you show up, they’ll all surely swarm you trying to get close."
Vivian shrugged, very familiar with such matters.
Selena smiled at her, "You’ve matured quite a bit..."
Vivian’s mouth twitched slightly, "Your words sound so old-fashioned, and are you saying I was immature before?!"
Selena nodded with mock seriousness.
Which almost made Vivian pull her aside for a playful tussle in the corridor.
After chatting for a while, Vivian brought up Annelise Mayfield.
"Annelise doesn’t seem to like staying around those people; she always stays in a fixed classroom."
"Initially, a lot of people tried to get on her good side, but after she made her stance clear, they stopped trying."
Selena nodded slightly.
After walking for a bit, Vivian pointed toward a slightly open door ahead.
"She’s in there."
"But there are caras inside, and soone’s always watching; you’d better be careful."
Vivian had already assud so conflict existed between Selena and Annelise, thus the reminder.
Selena looked at her speechlessly, "Do I look like I’m here to cause trouble?"
"...That’s hard to say."
Rembering Selena’s earlier words, Vivian seized the chance and didn’t hold back.
Selena glanced around the hallway on their floor.
There were only one or two caras at the corners.
Where they stood was in the middle of the corridor, and unless they spoke loudly, the caras wouldn’t pick up their conversation.
Realizing this, Selena didn’t rush in.
"Then I won’t go in; you can call her out for ."
Selena said slowly.
This ti, it was Vivian who was shocked.
"No way, are you really here to pick a fight?!"
She had just casually comnted earlier, not expecting Selena’s approach to confirm her suspicion...
Selena rolled her eyes, "No."
"It’s just that my conversation with her isn’t suitable for others to hear."
With that explanation, Vivian understood.
However, after a mont, she spoke again, hesitantly, "But, Annelise doesn’t seem easy to approach. Since the contest started, I’ve only spoken to her a few tis. Would she co if I called her?"
Selena’s eyes flickered, "You can tell her that I’m looking for her."
She was probing. If Annelise left the room upon hearing her na, it ant her reason for coming to Aethelgard was related to Selena.
Hearing this, Vivian grew more curious about Selena and Annelise’s relationship.
But observing Selena’s expression, she refrained from asking.
"Alright then, wait here for ."
Then Vivian went to call Annelise.
After waiting one or two minutes, the classroom door opened.
Annelise followed behind Vivian and ca out.
