Seeing Selena Kensington awake, Sterling Norwood’s hands paused.
A trace of panic flashed in his eyes.

Seeing Selena’s face terrifyingly pale yet still forcing herself to stop him, Sterling suddenly had no more thoughts.
He tried to make his voice gentle, so as not to scare Selena.
After saying that, Selena lay on the bed as if exhausted.
Her gaze blurred, as if she was about to be pulled back into a nightmare.
Sterling looked at her state and his eyes grew dark.
"Be good, don’t sleep... hold on for a while."
Within his heart, an unnad fire rose because of Selena’s fragile state.
And this fire was directed at himself.
He hated that because of his own bloodline, he couldn’t help his wife, and might even cause her harm.
Listening to Sterling’s words, Selena, despite her efforts to keep her eyes open, felt an alluring voice enticing her, and coupled with the sucking force in her belly, she ultimately couldn’t resist.
Selena once again fell into a nightmare.

Sterling gritted his teeth tightly, his eyes completely covered in crimson.

And that oppressive feeling was targeted at the two little ones in Selena’s belly!
Even though those two little ones were still in their mother’s belly, it was as if they could feel the dignity from their father, and instantly they moved much less.
Selena was able to relax a bit.

She was still trapped in the nightmare, unable to co out.
Suddenly, a golden light began to bloom from Selena’s body.

Lark Mayfield, Miles Goodman, and Grandma Jennings rushed over the instant sothing happened to Selena.
When they entered the bedroom, they saw Selena surrounded by a shimring golden light.
Grandma Jennings gasped at the sight of the golden light.
"Is this... Origin Power?!"
Seeing these golden lights, Grandma Jennings anticipated sothing was amiss.
"Miss Mayfield, please. Selie might be trapped and unable to break free."
Grandma Jennings imdiately spoke to Lark Mayfield beside her.
Lark nodded, without many words.
Directly approaching the bedside, she used her ability to activate the lingering seductive force within Selena.
Selena was trapped in a nightmare, but this was no ordinary nightmare.
It was a nightmare that could absorb Heavenly Master Power, even causing organ failure.
They magnify your deepest fears, your greatest horrors, and your least desired scenes in your mind bit by bit.
Then they nibble away your rationality and devour your consciousness.
Lark was using her abilities to activate the seductive force, aiming to reverse the nightmare Selena was engulfed in.
Such an action seed simple, yet it was especially energy-consuming.
Requiring great concentration.
So when Lark entered the state, everyone in the room dared not make a sound.
Especially Sterling; even though Lark and the others had arrived, his gaze never wavered from Selena.
He kept watching every expression on Selena’s face, not daring to miss a single movent.

Lark gasped slightly, leaning against Miles’ embrace, closing her eyes a bit sorely.
Seeing this, Grandma Jennings told Miles, "Ah Miles, take her downstairs for a bit of rest."
Miles had the sa intention, so he nodded, "Alright, Grandma."
Thus, Miles took Lark out first.
Grandma Jennings glanced at Sterling, who still remained by Selena’s bedside, and sighed lightly, "Help her clean up a bit, then rest yourself. I’ll go make so herbal soup for Selie."
Sterling nodded slightly.
Thus, Grandma Jennings left the room to Selena and Sterling, and she went out first.

Selena slept exceptionally soundly this ti.
She only felt a pair of hands wipe off the sweat on her body, allowing her to sleep extrely comfortably.
When she woke up again, the sun outside had already set.
The entire bedroom seed a bit dim.
Selena looked around the room, but there was no one else in the bedroom.
She intended to get up from the bed, but found that it was extrely difficult even to try and raise her hand.
It felt as if all the strength in her body had been drained.
As she lay there limply.
Selena sighed softly, not forcing herself to struggle to get up.
But she felt an unusual dryness and hoarseness in her throat.
Even her belly made ’gurgling’ sounds...
