Xia Jinyuan finally managed to sneak to Cobra’s side. Seeing that he was getting closer and closer to the Cobra, he wouldn’t leave any trail behind for the two people who wanted to get rid of him.
He didn’t argue or kick up a fuss. He just stood at the side quietly. When he was needed, he would do whatever Cobra asked him to do. The more Cobra trusted him, the more they were worried that their position in Cobra’s heart would be lost. In the past two months, they had been secretly pulling cheap tricks on him.
They asked the four women to e over because they wanted to see Xia Jinyuan make a fool of himself.
Xia Jinyuan, who still needed to support the drunk Luke, looked at the four Myanmar ladies and said calmly, “Up above is where you should go. Please move aside.”
The four ladies hesitated. They wanted money, but the man in front of them wasn’t interested in them. He didn’t look like someone they could provoke…
“Do you want money?” Xia Jinyuan asked them. Before they could reply, he said calmly, “Wait a moment.”
He placed the drunk Luke back on the deck and started searching through his clothes and pockets. Soon, a few stacks of colorful notes were in his hands. They were so new that they made a crisp sound.
He took out a stack and handed it over. “Can I leave now?”
The four scantily-dressed ladies came here for money. Now, they were able to get a stack of banknotes effortlessly. After receiving it, they winked and threw kisses at him… They even wanted to tease the generous guest.
The generous guest bent down with his back facing them. Xia Jinyuan helped Luke, who was still sleeping on the deck, up.

The four women left while swaying their hips. The smell of their perfumes didn’t linger as the river breeze carried it away. Only the slightly salty river breeze continued blowing, bringing with it a chill that made people’s spirits rise.
Xia Jinyuan helped Luke back to the cabin and ignored the few people who were trying to cause trouble. As long as he remained patient, no matter how much they disliked him, they could only bear with it.
However, the fate of the four ladies was a little tragic. They went back after receiving the money. Before they could smile, however, they were weled by the kicks and punches from the four men.
The other four ladies who stayed behind were so frightened that their faces turned pale. They screamed and hid in a corner on the deck. They watched as their panions were beaten, scolded, and kicked by the four men. Besides screaming, they couldn’t do anything else.
These people were already drunk. They didn’t manage to make a fool out of Xia Jinyuan, so they vented their anger on the four ladies. They cursed loudly, and their fists landed on the four women who were screaming in pain.
One of the four escorts was hit until her internal organs bled. She wasn’t saved in time and died on the spot.
