"You damn bastard, do you still not understand your current situation? Where exactly did you guys put those auction items?"

Dalzoll was furious.

The entire vault being completely emptied during this Yorknew City auction would go down as the biggest incident in history, and as one of the bodyguard captains for this event, it would beco a massive stain on his record.

Therefore, to recover this batch of auction items, he was currently enraged beyond asure.

Dalzoll pulled out a katana and ruthlessly thrust it directly towards Uvogin's crotch!

He wanted this arrogant bastard to learn a lesson and properly understand his current predicant!!

Clang—

But to his absolute horror, the mont the tal katana struck the opponent's crotch, it directly snapped, exactly as if it had struck solid tal.

Furthermore, bursts of intense pain shot through the webbing of his hand.

"This... this..."

Dalzoll was dumbfounded, cold sweat involuntarily beading on his forehead.

Only then did he realize that the bound man before him was soone capable of unleashing punches with the destructive power of a missile.

Even though he was tied up here, he remained a terrifying existence that chilled one to the bone.

Kurapika's expression was even more solemn.

Because he could clearly perceive that Uvogin's aura was incredibly stable.

The opponent clearly knew he was about to be tortured, yet the aura surrounding his body didn't show the slightest fluctuation. It was an aura that could only be emitted when one's spirit was exceedingly resolute, rendering the body as tough as steel and invulnerable to blades and spears.

"Hehe, see that? This is the gap between us. Once I get up, I will kill every single one of you! I will break your bones one by one and make you understand what it ans to beg for life and pray for death.

And you lot, I've morized all of you. I will make you regret ever coming into this world."

Uvogin glared at the group like a peerless fiend. An unprecedentedly terrifying aura expanded outward from him as the center. In that very mont, everyone present had the illusion that they hadn't bound a human, but a male lion on the verge of going berserk.

As if he could break free from the chains and shackles at any mont, charge out of his cage, and tear everyone to pieces.

This was an advanced application of aura.

While imposing imnse psychological pressure on the opponent, it also induced intense, overwhelming fear.

Sure enough, after he used this move, the expressions of the bodyguards present turned extrely pale.

The weaker Squala and Baise were dripping with cold sweat, and lody's face turned completely white.

She could clearly feel the opponent's terrifying, beast-like aura—the aura of a predator craving human flesh.

Everything the opponent said was absolutely true; he really would kill every single one of them.

"Ah... what, what did you say!! Do you know what crazy things you're spouting? You should be the one begging for rcy!"

Squala's voice began to tremble as he shouted loudly, trying to look fierce while being terrified inside.

The complexions of lody, Baise, and Dalzoll were also incredibly ugly. Only Kurapika managed to remain calm.

Under the impact of this overwhelmingly powerful aura, they felt as if they were tottering on the brink of collapse, even harboring the illusion that the opponent could kill them in the very next second.

They clearly knew the opponent was still trapped on the bedboard, his entire body bound by iron chains.

Moreover, his hands had been broken by Riku... logically speaking, he was fish on a chopping board, completely powerless to resist and ready to be slaughtered. Yet, why did everyone feel the illusion that they were the victims?

"Those auction items didn't fall into our hands. Soone got there before we did, highly likely it's that so-called Captain of yours," Uvogin said coldly.

Although he looked wild on the outside, his mind was actually as ticulous as a hair. Through this battle and encounter, he vaguely ford a hypothesis.

The person behind the scenes manipulating the entire Troupe and even trapping him... was highly likely that monster who defeated him earlier.

"Bullshit!! How could it be the Captain? The Captain is in charge of security this ti!!"

Dalzoll cursed sharply.

"He's just trying to sow discord among us. You probably don't know the position the Captain holds in our hearts! Don't bother trying such a clumsy attempt to drive a wedge between us!" Baise sneered.

"Right!! Do you really think we'd believe your crap?" Squala also cursed.

lody remained silent.

Because she clearly sensed that the opponent's heartbeat hadn't changed at all. That ant everything he just said was his true, heartfelt belief.

Could it be... the Captain...

lody couldn't help but shake her head. She didn't dare to imagine that the Captain of the bodyguards would steal what he was guarding. But even if it were true, she knew she wouldn't make a second choice; she would still choose to follow Riku.

Because she understood that it was Riku who had given her a completely new life.

"You bottom-feeders naturally wouldn't understand, and I don't need to explain it to you. Of course, it might not be your Captain; it could also be internal strife among those Shadow Beasts..." Uvogin sneered.

"Shadow Beasts? Do you even know what you're saying? They are a squad under the Ten Dons, how could they steal what they are guarding?" Dalzoll retorted.

"Because by the ti we got there, the entire vault was already empty, and we even found a corpse inside—one of the Shadow Beasts. Aside from that, the surveillance footage provided us with information that our own internal mber was the thief. But in reality, our Boss doesn't believe it was him.

Therefore, soone deliberately planted all the bla on us. It's either your Captain, or soone from the Shadow Beasts," Uvogin stated calmly.

During the ti he was injured, he had been constantly analyzing all the possibilities, and this was his final conclusion.

"He... he isn't lying..." lody murmured softly.

This caused the expressions of the others who heard her voice to shift slightly.

In other words, the person they had bound was highly likely not the vault thief, but rather a victim. If that were the case, what they were doing now wasn't self-defense, but assault.

This caused the little sense of justice remaining in everyone's hearts to waver.

Because previously, everyone chose to attack out of righteous anger.

But if it turned out that Uvogin was also a victim, wouldn't that make them the villains?

Does that an they had done sothing wrong?

If so, should they release this man before them? After all, he was innocent.

The bodyguards, including Dalzoll, felt their resolve waver.

They weren't wanted criminals like Uvogin; they still had a sense of justice in their hearts.

However, Kurapika's expression was frighteningly calm. He stepped forward slowly, stood beside Uvogin, and said, "What happened to those guests? There were my companions among them. Answer ."

He saw right through Uvogin's current plan. The opponent wanted to shake these people's resolve, continuously breaking down their psychological defenses to eventually escape.

Unfortunately, this trick was completely useless against Kurapika. He had captured Uvogin not because of the auction, but for revenge.

So, any so-called sense of justice or inner turmoil simply didn't exist for him.

This question made Uvogin furrow his brows slightly.

Normally, he could choose to hide it, but Uvogin's personality dictated that he would never conceal such a thing.

"That's a real sha, they're all already dead. I made that decision. Perhaps by now, their corpses are already..." Uvogin sneered.

Before he could finish his sentence, Kurapika seed to be consud by fury and landed a heavy punch squarely on his face.

To everyone's astonishnt, the previously invulnerable Uvogin was actually struck so hard by Kurapika that his nose bled on the spot.

"So strong!!" Dalzoll was shocked.

The Captain was already astonishing enough, but even his friend, Kurapika, seed to possess inhuman strength.

In other words, the power of Kurapika's fist surpassed the force of the blade he had just used. No wonder the Captain appointed him as the Vice-Captain of this squad.

"Just because of your single decision, so many people had to die!?"

Kurapika was thoroughly enraged, traces of a scarlet hue erging in his eyes.

Because the deaths of these people brought back terrible mories. Back then, his entire clan was slaughtered purely because these bastards wanted their eyes.

To these damn scumbags before him, other people seed to be nothing more than commodities for profit, to be casually killed like pigs and dogs.

"Calm down! Kurapika!!"

The people nearby hurriedly grabbed Kurapika's shoulders, trying to calm him down.

"Kurapika! Don't forget the Captain's orders; we have to wait for him to arrive before making a decision," lody hurriedly spoke.

Her words managed to cool down the previously furious Kurapika. He stopped his actions, but his gaze as he looked at Uvogin was akin to looking at a dead man.

Kurapika's goal wasn't just to kill the Uvogin in front of him; he wanted revenge on the entire Troupe!

Therefore, this Uvogin was a crucial lead and couldn't be killed so easily. Once he died, he would lose his value as bait.

"Hehe... Oh, scarlet eyes. I rember now. So you're from the Kurta Clan, possessing one of the Seven Great Beautiful Colors? No wonder your eyes were so valuable. Did we fail to exterminate everyone back then, and actually let you survive by so fluke?

What a pity. Looking at your age now, you must have been very young when you escaped. You probably didn't even know the grueso scene of how your clansn died in front of us.

Do you know what it felt like when I dug your clansn's eyeballs out with my bare hands? The feeling was absolutely exquisite. I even personally tasted a few of them—"

Uvogin laughed disdainfully.

Bang—

Before he could finish his sentence, the enraged Kurapika smashed a heavy punch into his face.

At this mont, Kurapika seed completely consud by rage, his eyes turning intensely scarlet, and his rationality dropping significantly.

Dalzoll and Basho completely failed to hold him back.

Kurapika jumped directly onto Uvogin, raining down a frantic barrage of punches left and right!

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Muffled thuds that set one's teeth on edge rang out, and several of Uvogin's teeth could even be seen flying out.

Clearly, Kurapika was enraged to the absolute limit. This was the most painful mory he never wished to recall in his entire life.

Yet this bastard was forcefully and repeatedly bringing it up right to his face.

Hum~~~

Nearby, the bald girl, lody, began to play her flute.

A lody as gentle as a willow-caressing breeze sounded, gradually dispelling the negative emotions in everyone's hearts.

lody was also extrely tense at this mont.

But her flute seed to have very little effect on Kurapika.

"Stop! Kurapika, this guy wants you to kill him!"

Realizing her flute was ineffective, lody hurriedly lowered it and shouted loudly, trying to call Kurapika back from his fury.

"That's enough... Kurapika."

Suddenly.

A soft, slow voice echoed from nearby.

It was very calm and very familiar.

Even Kurapika, imrsed in his enraged state, couldn't help but stop his actions. He slowly turned his head to look, and everyone else's gazes followed towards the source of the sound.

At the end of the hallway, a figure was slowly walking towards them. It was none other than Riku.

"Sorry, I'm a bit late. Did this guy say sothing that made you very angry?"

Riku smiled faintly.

The others present imdiately revealed looks of joy, as if they had finally found their backbone.

Especially Dalzoll and the others, who were drenched in sweat. They had just endured imnse psychological pressure, and could now finally let out a long sigh of relief.

Because Riku had arrived, everything could now be handed over to him.

"Captain!!"

Dalzoll hurriedly stepped forward.

Kurapika also stopped his actions, the scarlet hue in his eyes gradually fading.

He was even sowhat surprised himself. He didn't know when Riku's status in his heart had beco so high, almost equivalent to that of an older brother.

"Indeed. The eyes of the Kurta Clan are one of the Seven Great Beautiful Colors in the world. Having them dug out must have been incredibly painful..."

Riku stepped forward and gently patted Kurapika on the shoulder.

"Hehe, it's useless. I will absolutely not disclose any information or the whereabouts of the other mbers of my team. You can give up on that entirely."

Uvogin, his face now beaten and swollen like a pig's head, sneered at Riku.

He already understood that he could not possibly be Riku's match.

But he had made absolute ntal preparations. No matter what severe torture Riku subjected him to to force a confession, even if he died, he would not reveal any information about the other team mbers.

He, Uvogin, could die in battle, but he would absolutely not die a coward.

"Oh? I never expected to get information about the other mbers from your mouth. Do you know why I ca back so late? I rely went to mark your mbers, that's all.

And I'll tell you this: starting today, I will eliminate one mber of your team every single day, including your Boss.

The Phantom Troupe shall be erased from this world.

Justice may be late, but it will never be absent."

Riku stated calmly.
