The effect was quite good, and a few kids started eating at a small table outside. As a result, so parents who brought their kids to buy bread saw what they were eating, and their kids insisted on having it too. The adults thought it was on sale and asked how much it was.
Little Star saw that there were only two left, so she blurted out a price, which was higher than the usual pancake, but the custor wanted it imdiately.
The people in the store didn’t think much of it initially, but the next day, the sa custor ca back to buy more. They could only say they were sold out. On the third day, the sa custor ca back again, saying it was delicious and they wanted to take two more ho since the kid now clamors for it every day.
This ti, Shuhua took it seriously and imdiately told the custor they’d reserve so for them the next day.
After the custor left, Shuhua followed Little Star’s thod and baked a dozen. They were all sold out by the morning. In the afternoon, they baked a few more for that custor.
The next day, people lined up asking for it, with over twenty sold in a day. Shuhua thought this could sell, but they couldn’t na it after a pizza since the toppings were all local flavors, so Shuhua called it a bread pancake.
The new product hit the shelves just like that, and it sold well even in sumr; once the weather turned cooler, it would sell even better.
The great sales of this new product were all thanks to Little Star’s happy accident.
Every ti they visited S City, they would return with more bags than when they left, filled with gifts from friends and relatives there.
Most of the gifts were clothes, which they already had plenty of.
The little wardrobes of the two children were packed full.
After the kids returned, Lin Wan and Han Yi couldn’t stay idle anymore. With the hot weather, besides occasionally visiting the factory, Lin Wan stayed at ho every day, making all sorts of delicious food for Dingding.
Little Star now spends her days doing outdoor sketches with Hanhan in the nearby area. When it’s too hot, Lin Wan doesn’t let them go out, saying they can paint the sa at ho. Even the ordinary scenery outside the window needed to be sketched, or the residents in their apartnt building, each with their characteristics, Lin Wan demanded that the two of them draw everyone in their building.
That sumr passed peacefully at ho, and when the school year started, all the parents breathed a sigh of relief.
Little Star started high school, getting exposed to new things. The school wasn’t too strict at first. Lin Wan guessed that things would get tense in the second year. Without Yangyang and Hanhan’s company, Little Star felt sowhat lonely. However, entering a new school ant she also t many new classmates, and friendships developed gradually.
Though Dingding was mischievous, his grades weren’t bad; he consistently ranked among the top in exams. After all, both Lin Wan and Han Yi were strict with him, especially Han Yi, who said boys shouldn’t be pampered too much. He believed putting pressure on him, giving him challenging tasks, would train his stress tolerance from a young age, which would benefit him in the long run.
Lin Wan took a few orders and spent the past few days busy with designs. anwhile, Wang Leqin participated in an evening gown competition and dragged Lin Wan to her studio for advice.
During the first two months after the kids returned to school, Lin Wan was almost busy every day.
anwhile, Saozi’s hot spring hotel missed the sumr and opened in October, just in ti for winter. Saozi trained the staff for over a month during the sumr, advertised events in newspapers before the opening, and distributed flyers in several major malls in the city for over half a month.
During the opening, surely there had to be a big sale. If you signed up for a mbership card, you could get eight free visits or a free swimsuit and other gifts. If you didn’t sign up for the card, you could directly buy tickets at their place; one ticket per person, the more you buy, the more you get.
Saozi gave several tickets to friends and family before the opening, encouraging them to distribute them to their friends and colleagues, inviting them to co and experience it.
This big sale only lasted half a month, after which prices would return to normal.
During this half-month, many people signed up for cards, at least forty or fifty people. A card cost at least five hundred yuan. However, many big bosses loaded up with thousands, as they often needed to entertain clients, making this the perfect venue. There were even more single ticket buyers, as people took advantage of the low prices to buy more for future gift-giving.
However, not long after the opening, it was the National Day Golden Week, bringing a large surge of visitors. So people took advantage of the deals and holidays to try it out.
Overall, having such performance shortly after opening is already very good. After all, the consur level was not high, and there was a significant wealth gap, so generally, only wealthy people could afford to spend here.
With such big funds spent and so much ti invested, recouping costs imdiately was impossible; perhaps it would get better during the New Year.
However, the business on the brother’s side was doing well, improving steadily over the past six months.
After Lin Wan finished her work, she took so ti to relax for a few days, tidied up the kids’ rooms, and made so of their favorite foods. This New Year, they’re planning to spend it in S City.
This year, You Pei, Lijuan, and Xiao Dong are also going back, and grandma ntioned they’ve never had a family photo and would like to take one. Han Yi agreed, saying they’d spend this New Year back there.
Lin Wan also wanted to check on how things were going at the factory, as Su Ling recently ntioned wanting to go public. It was a collective operation; she wasn’t very experienced and hoped Lin Wan could co over to discuss it with a few others.
