Han Yi took Lin Wan to the mall, saying they were getting married and wanted to buy her so clothes.

Lin Wan shook her head, as the clothes sold outside weren’t as nice as the ones she made herself.

In the end, Lin Wan pulled him into a silver shop, asking the old shopkeeper to make two rings for them from silver. Gold was too expensive, so they chose pure silver, weighed the grams, and spent a total of sixty-six dollars. This number was auspicious. Lin Wan didn’t haggle and paid the deposit, agreeing to pick them up the next day.

"I’ll give you my savings account book when we get ho," said Lin Wan, worried he might not have enough money since Han Yi paid for today’s wedding photo shoot and rings.

Han Yi shook his head, "No need, I still have so on ."

It was too hot, so they didn’t plan to stroll around further, as the families needed to discuss the wedding date. Han Yi suggested that Lin Wan’s family co to their ho to discuss since they had already registered their marriage, and his mom and brother didn’t even know where they lived.

Lin Wan nodded in agreent. When she got ho in the evening, she told Liang Hongi about the day’s events.

Liang Hongi agreed, and the next morning, she had Lin Yinghui take them to the mall to buy so gifts. The three then paid a visit.

Lin Wan’s family were outsiders here, without any relatives around. On Han Yi’s side, only Uncle Jin and his wife were there to help today.

Liang Hongi was quite puzzled. When the children of both families are getting married, whether it’s engagent or wedding, family relatives usually show up, but since Xiao Wan and Xiao Han’s engagent, they only saw Han Yi’s Grandma and that couple next door. They seed to be neighbors.

Although Liang Hongi was puzzled, she didn’t ask. Grandma was aged and heavy, and Aunt Jin prepared the lunch.

"Our Xiao Yi has only a week off, dear in-laws, how does the day after tomorrow sound for the wedding?" Grandma smiled, sitting beside Liang Hongi.

"Isn’t the day after tomorrow too rushed?" Liang Hongi, hearing Han Yi only had a week’s leave, felt sowhat displeased. With such a short holiday, he’d often be away, leaving her daughter as if she were widowed.

"Sis, we’ve checked, the day after tomorrow is a good day," chid in Aunt Jin from the side.

"Xiao Yi and Xiao Wan are officially married now; it’s only a formality. I’m eager for my niece-in-law to co in."

"Since Grandma suggests it, let it be the day after tomorrow. We’re from the south and don’t know the local customs, so please, guide us if there’s anything amiss, dear in-laws." With the marriage certificate signed, Liang Hongi wasn’t bothered about when the wedding should be held.

"We don’t have many relatives, nor do your side, so Xiao Yi suggests both families hold the wedding together, find a restaurant for the banquet; how do you feel about that?"

"That sounds great, we have no objections," they noted, suggesting their hotpot restaurant. Han Yi disagreed, preferring to find a place himself.

Lin Wan knew that if they had it at their restaurant, her brother definitely wouldn’t charge them. It was better to find another restaurant.

After the families had made arrangents, Liang Hongi took the children ho, and in the afternoon, her brother went to a carpenter’s place to have a wardrobe and dressing table brought ho, then went to the distillery to find Li Congnan to wait for the groom’s side to bring over the wedding gifts the next day.

As for the wedding gifts, there wasn’t much spectacle on the bride’s side, but when the groom’s car arrived, Lin Yinghui set off a string of firecrackers outside.

Helping to carry items wrapped in red paper onto the car.

Han Yi found three tricycles today. Two wardrobes, a bicycle, bedding, a radio, clothes, and his study materials. They packed everything in.
