Lin Wan didn’t expect that Hu Dong also called Uncle Hu back.
Uncle Hu looked around and thought it was quite nice, although the rent was over ten bucks a month, which seed a bit expensive, it was better than living under his mom’s nose.
These days, he’d also been thinking about what his mother-in-law said that day. She was right. He was a middle-aged man without savings; when his wife or child needed dical treatnt or new clothes, he had to beg his mom for money. His life felt stifling.

Hu Bin was taken aback, "Oh, I didn’t think about that. I’ll ask them tomorrow."
Though he said this, Hu Bin still paid the deposit to avoid missing out.

They seed to have t only twice before. The first ti was at her wedding with Han Yi, and the second ti at their house, with no chance for conversation. This was the third ti.
In the past life, she rarely saw Hu Bin, let alone the mother-in-law, so she wasn’t aware of their later circumstances.
Lin Wan used to think Shen Qing didn’t like Han Yi, but now it seed not to be the case.
"Our whole family welcos Brother and Saozi... oh, wait, we’re family already," Hu Lijuan genuinely liked Lin Wan as her sister-in-law.
"Yes, we’re family already." Shen Qing wiped her tears and said, choking up.
"Yes, we’re family already." Hu Bin felt emotional; if his mother hadn’t stopped him years ago, he and Shen Qing intended to keep Han Yi close.
Suddenly, Hu Bin realized he’d been dazed for years, missing out on too much.
Lin Wan didn’t leave with the mother-in-law’s family; she walked away with her brother to give them so space.
"Thank you, Brother," Lin Wan said, sitting at the back, leaning on the railing, watching her brother’s silhouette. At so point, his once slender back had grown tall and strong.
"What are you thanking for? I’m your brother." Lin Yinghui turned back and affectionately ruffled Lin Wan’s hair. He rembered how he used to love holding his little sister’s hand and ssing up her hair. She’d always glare at him angrily then. It’s been a long ti since he’d done this, since she got married, and she was soone else’s now. For a mont, Lin Yinghui felt quite unsatisfied. He knew it was too late for that now.
Alas, that Han Yi kid got lucky, marrying her and leaving his sister on the sidelines. Let’s see how he handles him when he gets back.
Lin Wan remained silent, knowing her brother was doing all this for her. When her in-laws were doing well, she could be more at ease.
