In the end, it was unresolved. They both just got exhausted.

Old i looked at his son and grandson’s injuries, after asking about the situation, he didn’t say much.
Originally, their relationship with the Tao family had been strained due to Xiao Chi, now having Junzi to smooth things over could only be a good thing.
He thought it over last night and realized it’s actually not a bad thing.
i Shuping saw Old i wasn’t saying anything, so he knew where his thoughts lay, Junzi entering the Tao family would be a disgrace for their eldest.

"Brother, resolve the important matters first before discussing this." i Shuqing’s intention was clear.
