"Then how did you get out?"
"He was drunk. He banged on the door for quite a while but didn’t get it open, and finally fell asleep like that. Shen Rong thought she was going to confront Li Chang alone, so she quickly pulled her back and said, "Saozi, you can’t go. He still holds a grudge from the last incident. If he sees you, he’ll definitely get violent. If sothing happens to you, how can I explain it to my cousin?"
"Don’t worry, I won’t go alone. I’ll go to the front yard and call my dad. My dad’s here now too."

In the dead of night, Lin Wan knocked on the door, startling Lin Guozhi and Liang Hongi, who thought sothing had happened to their daughter. Without even throwing on a coat, they rushed out worriedly.
"What’s wrong, sothing happened?"
Seeing her daughter was dressed, Liang Hongi quickly asked.
"Mom, it’s nothing major. You know my godmother’s house, right? I rented it to Han Yi’s cousin."
"I know, didn’t you just tell about this a few days ago? What happened?"
"My cousin’s husband is no good, they’ve divorced. Now she’s living alone with the child, but that man just can’t be peaceful even after the divorce. He’s causing a fuss wanting to remarry my cousin. "Where is your cousin?" Lin Guozhi, now dressed, asked with a stern face.
"She’s in my room now."

"I’ll go too," Liang Hongi was worried, quickly dressed, and followed them out.
When Lin Guozhi and his family arrived at Shen Rong’s house, they saw the lights inside were on, and a man was curled up at the entrance of the main room.
He was sleeping soundly. Lin Guozhi kicked him a couple of tis but couldn’t wake him up.
Feeling the pain, he cursed a bit with his eyes closed, then went back to sleep.
"Nannan, fetch a basin of water."
Liang Hongi frowned at the suggestion, understanding what her husband intended. "Won’t this make him cold?"
"Don’t worry, it’s fine."
Seeing this, Liang Hongi didn’t hesitate and went to the kitchen to bring a basin of water to Lin Guozhi. Lin Guozhi dumped all the water onto Li Chang’s head without any pity.
The water spread over his face and hair, enough to make Li Chang feel cold but not freeze him.
The rush of cold water startled Li Chang awake; he quickly sat up, wiping the water from his face and cursing,
"Who the hell doesn’t have eyes?"
", Li Chang, you’ve got so nerve, scaling the wall to harass a decent woman in the middle of the night. Aren’t you afraid of going to jail?"
Li Chang imdiately recognized the voice. Opening his eyes, he saw it was indeed Lin Wan and said,
