As soon as Ye Qing finished speaking, Chen Haichang suddenly walked up to i Langchi and, with so unknown thod, pulled i Langchi aside swiftly. The move was too quick for i Langchi to react, and even more so for Ye Qing. Two slaps landed, leaving Ye Qing stunned. Afterward, he shook his hand, frowning, "Tsk tsk, my hand hurts too much. Ai Yi, you’ll have to finish the remaining two slaps for your wife."
"Ah. Ow." By the ti Ye Qing reacted, both sides of her face stung painfully.
"Chen Haichang, you’ve gone too far. What gives you the right to hit my wife?" i Langchi turned around and grabbed Chen Haichang by the collar, landing a punch.
Chen Haichang reacted quickly, dodging slightly, yet still getting hit on the face.
"Just because she has a foul mouth." Chen Haichang wasn’t backing down either, grabbing i Langchi’s hand on his collar, ready to hit.
"Stop it, do you think I’m dead?" At this point, Mr. i had lost his authority, and no one was listening to him.
The fighting continued nonetheless.
Mr. i suddenly realized his plan was utterly unfeasible.
From what he could tell, Chen Haichang and Han Yi, including his second son, had a pretty good relationship.
Chen Haichang had never done anything against Han Yi or the two elders. Well, except for so ddling with the eldest son’s promotion.
i Shuping saw his son being hit and quickly went to break it up. i Shuqing couldn’t let them really start fighting; the i Family was chaotic enough.
Han Yi, standing aside, held Lin Wan’s hand, pretending not to see and asked her quietly, "Does your hand hurt?"
Lin Wan smiled and shook her head, "I’m scared she’ll kick ."
"Don’t worry, I’m here."
Han Yi said, guiding Lin Wan over to Ye Qing’s side.
At this mont, the attention of the i Family was all on Chen Haichang and i Langchi. No one noticed Han Yi and Lin Wan.
As they reached Ye Qing’s side, her gaze finally shifted from i Langchi to them.
Upon seeing them, she was startled and quickly covered her face, "Lin Wan, what are you trying to do?"
"Ye Qing, I told you, you left without checking your calendar today, and you’re offending the gods. Bla yourself for speaking recklessly. I don’t get it, what’s the benefit for you in saying all this?"
As Lin Wan finished talking, Han Yi cooperated, giving Ye Qing’s arm a jab, causing her to let out a scream and her arm went limp, hand falling from her face.

Ye Qing lifted her foot to kick her, Han Yi saw this and successfully raised his leg, kicking her directly in the knee.
In an instant, Ye Qing was kicked to the ground. Over there, Xie Lingzhi saw Han Yi bullying her daughter-in-law and quickly rushed over from i Langchi’s side, pushing Han Yi.
Han Yi was unstable and almost stumbled into Lin Wan.

anwhile, i Shuping and i Shuqing successfully separated Chen Haichang and i Langchi. Mr. i struck air, lost balance, and fell face-first.
Mr. i didn’t get up after that fall.

"Old man?" Old Mrs. i saw her son turn i Erqing over, his eyes shut tight, nose bleeding—she couldn’t take a breath and fainted as well.
In an instant, the i Family’s old residence sent two elders off to the hospital quickly, causing a stir in the courtyard.
"Xiao Wan, don’t go to the hospital with the kids tonight, it’s late. You and Xingxing sleep at my place first." Godmother said to Lin Wan as she left.
Han Yi drove ahead and couldn’t send her back himself. With Ye Qing at the old residence, he didn’t feel at ease. "Listen to Aunt, I’ll co back when things stabilize."
"Okay, be careful on the road." Lin Wan took the key from godmother’s house and, after they left, took Little Star back to godmother’s.
Apart from her and Ye Qing, everyone else from the i Family went to the hospital.
Ye Qing had been hit hard three tis, her face was swollen like a pig’s head and she didn’t dare go out to see anyone.
Aunt Wu had made a whole table full of dinner, and now everyone had left, so it could only go to waste.
Lin Wan and Little Star returned to godmother’s house. On the way, Little Star insisted they buy instant noodles. Lin Wan wasn’t sure what there would be to eat at godmother’s, so to be safe, she took Little Star out to buy a few packs of instant noodles, ca back, and brewed them in hot water for dinner.
"Mom, didn’t you say instant noodles aren’t nutritious? If you eat them, won’t little brother be lacking nutrition?" Little Star looked at the large bowl of instant noodles Lin Wan was eating; mom had cooked two packs herself.
"Uh... well... your brother wanted to eat them today too. That’s why mom ate so much. Mom often says they’re not nutritious, but you, little glutton, always insist on eating them. So, yeah, your brother wanted to eat them too."
