"Do you think your mother-in-law now genuinely cares about you?" Zhou Xiangping stopped Zhou Mikang from telling Lin Yanqiu about her mother-in-law forcing her to drink soup, and after a mont of silence, Zhou Mikang asked.
"I think she does..."
Zhou Mikang interrupted his sister: "I need a definite answer, what do you an by ’I think she does’?"
After pondering for a mont, Zhou Xiangping nodded confidently: "Third Brother, I trust my feelings. Mother-in-law now truly accepts as her daughter-in-law, and she feels guilty for what happened in the past. Her intentions were good this ti, it’s just that due to my physical reasons, I genuinely couldn’t handle it."

Chuxia shook her head repeatedly: "No, don’t wrong like that. If there’s sothing I should help with, I definitely will. But when it cos to matters between you siblings, it’s not my place to get involved. Of course, if we’ve been married for over twenty years, that would be a different story."
Zhou Xiangping was taken aback, then began to laugh: "Third sister-in-law, are you jealous of the bond between and Third Brother?"
"Fourth sister, you have a knack for wronging people..." Chuxia rolled her eyes speechlessly, "You’ve lived with your brother for over twenty years, you know him better than I do. If I interfere now, wouldn’t I just be asking for trouble?

Zhou Xiangping smiled awkwardly, realizing she really misunderstood. She thought her third sister-in-law was jealous of the deep bond between her and her brother. Chuxia and Zhou Mikang replied to Zhou Xiangping’s question almost simultaneously. The latter amusingly eyed the couple and looked at Zhou Mikang: "Third Brother, tell your perspective."
"Thinking about things twenty years from now, and you say you’re not overthinking?"
"You..." Chuxia looked at him speechlessly, then realized he did it on purpose. Actually, his first reaction was to notice changes in her personality compared to before, but after she denied it, he didn’t want to expose her.

"Third sister-in-law, this is ginseng chicken soup, it’s especially good for pregnant won." Liao Hui placed a bowl in front of Chuxia first, and then placed the other bowl in front of his wife, "Mom is making fish soup, you can drink that later."
Just slightly hungry, Chuxia didn’t hold back, picked up a small spoon, took a sip, and nodded in satisfaction: "It’s delicious, really delicious." Then, spoonful by spoonful, the bowl of chicken soup was finished in no ti.
Feeling content, she turned to look at the other pregnant woman, who was staring dazedly at her bowl with a spoon in hand. Liao Hui sat beside, pleadingly staring at Zhou Xiangping.
Chuxia rubbed her forehead secretly; it must not be easy to make delicious chicken soup and have it drive Zhou Xiangping to this state.
"Want more?" Zhou Mikang asked his young wife.
"No." Chuxia quickly shook her head. No matter how delicious sothing is, too much of it would just be burdenso. For her, a bowl of chicken soup when hungry is savory, but being forced to drink another when full would be like poison. Right now, she genuinely felt deep sympathy for Zhou Xiangping.
