Yun Doudou, Yun Guoguo, and Zhou Hanliang sat across from Lan Ailian, who stared coldly at them, the atmosphere in the room both mysterious and oppressive...

Facing her mother’s questioning and outsiders’ gossip, Yun Doudou felt both helpless and angry. What’s Guoguo’s situation — it’s not like people living here don’t know. Can’t they say sothing more virtuous?
But she also understood her mother’s temper. When she’s angry, even if what Yun Doudou says makes sense, it won’t get through.
Zhou Hanliang now felt even more wronged. Every ti he ca to the Yun Family, he would bring gifts for Guoguo. Whenever they were busy, he would also play with her.
