Chuxia hadn’t seen Jing Zhe for a long ti, and as soon as he saw him, she bead and approached him: "I heard yesterday that you and Grandpa Jing and Grandma Jing are back, but it was too late for to co over. Have Grandpa Jing and Grandma Jing been in good spirits after the trip?"
Jing Zhe smiled and said: "Yes, the old couple toured around and returned, feeling good and healthy. You’ll see when you et them that they look several years younger."
"When do you plan to have the wedding with Sister ili?" Chuxia asked out of habit—after all, today’s her cousin and good friend’s wedding, so asking such questions is perfectly normal.
A trace of awkwardness flickered in Jing Zhe’s eyes: "We’ll have to discuss this with your Sister ili and see. Hopefully, no unexpected circumstances will change things this ti."
Ha, the unexpected circumstances are probably you, Chuxia thought sarcastically, though she didn’t reveal it and just laughed: "Next ti it’ll definitely be smooth. Brother, you’ve caught so much of today’s joyous atmosphere, how could it not be smooth?"

Chuxia pursed her lips, thinking how could this possibly need confirming now? The excuse is too clumsy!
However, now’s not the ti to discuss this, so Chuxia quickly composed herself and looked over at Luo Xiaoqiong’s side.
These days picking up a bride is really too easy! While she was chatting with Jing Zhe, her big brother already escorted the bride out! The bridesmaids were Liu ijun and Sun Shangi, who ca over early this morning.
Chuxia had always been close with Liu ijun, so they interacted frequently. Although Sun Shangi was a fellow villager, after the won’s special forces assessnt and distribution, they hadn’t t again. When Sun Shangi arrived this morning, the car to pick up the bride had also just arrived, so Chuxia didn’t have ti to say much to her, and they separated.
Now that the task was complete, Liu ijun and Sun Shangi ca over to Chuxia, eyeing her belly with a look of wanting to touch but not daring to.

"Are you making fun of ?" Sun Shangi looked at Chuxia with a face full of grievance, "Look at her, she knows I’m not quick-minded and need to exert more effort than others, yet she teases ."
"Sun Shangi, you..." Chuxia looked her up and down, "Your personality has changed so much compared to before." The tough-as-nails Sun Shangi could actually act like a little girl and pout, completely overturning her perception of her.
"It was the teacher who made change..." Sun Shangi smiled shyly, "I was like a tomboy before, wasn’t I? Really not likable?"
Chuxia shook her head: "Not really, just feeling there’s a huge difference from before, you can notice it from interactions."
"When I first got assigned to the teacher, she really didn’t like and considered sending back. I was really out of options, so I cried and begged her to give a chance. I said if I went back like that, I wouldn’t be able to stay in the village anymore.
I also told her about my family situation, and then she reluctantly kept , but emphasized that if after a month, I was still having such a hard ti learning, she would handle things by the book.
During that ti I didn’t eat or sleep and kept morizing what the teacher taught . Given my condition..." Sun Shangi laughed awkwardly, "One day I actually fainted, and when I awoke, found the teacher sitting beside my bed.
