Zhou Xiangping frowned, “Mom, you only decided to send there because Jiang Xue went to see Liao Hui, why belittle my work capabilities?”
Lin Yanqiu didn’t argue but agreed,”Alright, alright, mom has wronged you. No matter the reason, what do you think?”
Zhou Xiangping looked towards Old Madam Zhou, “Grandma, do you also want to go and be by Liao Hui’s side?”
“Xiao Si, your mom and I are just reminding you; though you two have grown up together, a long-distance relationship can eventually affect your feelings. And, you’ve been married for a few months now, there’s still no news about your pregnancy, his family hasn’t said anything, but surely they are worried, aren’t they?”
“Many people live separately for decades after getting married, and I see they are doing just fine. If he finds another woman after just a short period apart, then it simply shows he’s not worth marrying.”
“Grandma, Mom, I know you both want the best for , but for now, I don’t want to move there. If I go, wouldn’t it be like bowing down to my mother-in-law, forgiving her for matchmaking Liao Hui and Jiang Xue earlier?”

“It’s true that her arrangents for Liao Hui were wrong, but put yourself in her shoes, her actions are forgivable. She never liked you; she agreed to have you as a daughter-in-law only because of the relationship between the two families and Liao Hui’s insistence.”
