Li Dongxiang in the room also perked up her ears to listen to Chen Jun and the others talking.

Chen Jun’s mother served another bowl, added so dishes, and with a warm smile to Yang Lin, went into the room.

Chen Jun’s mother put the bowl on Li Dongxiang’s bedside and didn’t bother further, returning to the living room.
She silently listened to Chen Jun’s conversation and occasionally praised Yang Lin.

She opened her eyes again, sighed, and reached for the novel on the bedside table to read.
When it got late, and she could no longer keep her eyes open, she put down the book and slowly fell asleep.

Wondering what Gu Yi was doing now, was she thinking of him just as he was thinking of her?
Was she worried that he hadn’t returned yet?

Next to Ye Hao, Wang Wei couldn’t hold back and spoke to Ye Hao softly.
