When Gu Yi and the others ca ashore.
Many people had already spread out sheets they brought from ho on the grass and started enjoying lunch.
Gu Yi got up late in the morning and didn’t have ti to prepare.
Ye’s mother and they hadn’t planned on preparing anything at all.
"Let’s go eat at a restaurant outside the park."
Gu Yi suggested.
"No need, let’s just go ho and make so noodles. It’s still early."
Ye Fu thought going to a restaurant was a bit of a waste.
"Dad, later we still have other places to visit. We should eat sothing first. Coming out to have fun ans enjoying without worrying about these things."
Ye Hao said this, then directly led them outside.
Yang Lin ca down from the mountain and saw Ye Hao and the others already at the park entrance, with Ye Family’s parents too.
She wanted to go up and greet them, but Wang Li pulled her to go boating.
Yang Lin had no choice but to watch them walk out of her sight.
Gu Yi and the others ordered a few stir-fried dishes at a restaurant outside the park.
After eating, Ye Hao and Gu Yi wanted to take Ye Family’s parents for a stroll.
But they all said they were tired and wanted to go ho.
In the end, they respected the elders’ wishes and changed their route ho.
Gu Yi and Ye Hao took Ye Family’s parents back ho and planned to take Ye Qian out again.
"Brother, sister-in-law, you go ahead and have fun. I’m not going; after climbing the mountain, I’m pretty tired. I’ll just rest at ho this afternoon."
Ye Qian didn’t want to be a third wheel, so she made an excuse to stay at ho with her parents.
"Then it’s just the two of us."
Gu Yi looked at Ye Hao and said with a smile.
"Wherever you want to go, I’ll accompany you."
Ye Hao replied with a smile.
"Then I also want to sleep at ho, haha."
Gu Yi couldn’t stop laughing as she looked at the disappointed expression on Ye Hao’s face.
"Alright, I’ll accompany you too."
Ye Hao deliberately looked Gu Yi up and down and took a while to respond.
"I’m really tired. Can I accompany you properly tomorrow?"
Luckily, it was just the two of them in the living room, otherwise, Gu Yi would’ve felt embarrassed.
"Okay, I know you’re tired. Just rest at ho this afternoon."
Ye Hao held Gu Yi’s face and gently rubbed it.
It was a relaxing and happy day for Gu Yi, but not so much for Yang Lin.
After playing with Wang Li, she hurried to the barracks to find Li Dongxiang.
"Ye Hao is back. Why didn’t you tell anything?"
She asked angrily as soon as she saw Li Dongxiang.
"Recently, my household’s Old Chen’s allowance has been held by my mother-in-law. I couldn’t even make a call to you."
Li Dongxiang said unhurriedly.
This statent left Yang Lin speechless for a while.
She knew Li Dongxiang was asking for money again; every ti they t, she acted poor. Yang Lin was infuriated by Li Dongxiang’s nonchalant attitude, but she had no other choice.
"I can give you the money, but you haven’t done a single thing I asked for. I can totally find soone else."
Yang Lin knew that without spending so money, Li Dongxiang wouldn’t help her get things done.
But she couldn’t let herself be controlled by Li Dongxiang, not getting anything accomplished and spending a lot of money. She wouldn’t continue being a sucker.
"Oh, sister, don’t be mad. I’ve been doing what you asked to do. But Gu Yi’s luck is just too good; she always manages to avoid it. You know she’s not at the barracks much either, but I’ve been looking for opportunities."
Seeing Yang Lin angry, Li Dongxiang quickly softened her tone.
As Yang Lin said, she could totally find soone else to help her, as long as she paid.
Li Dongxiang wouldn’t be foolish enough to let Yang Lin find soone else and let soone else earn the money.
"I really don’t have that much patience. If I keep waiting, Ye Hao and Gu Yi’s child will be born, and I’ll still be foolishly waiting."
Yang Lin didn’t bother hiding her intentions in front of Li Dongxiang now.
After all, since Li Dongxiang took her money, she had to help her get things done promptly. This endless delay was exhausting her ti and energy.
"I understand, don’t worry. The ssage we put out last ti, Ye Hao probably doesn’t know yet. He only ca back the evening before yesterday, went to the city that afternoon, and hasn’t co back since. Li Dongxiang analyzed her plans with Yang Lin.
Yang Lin listened as she rembered she had ntioned seeing Gu Yi dining with a man, which had now morphed into being at a hotel in Li Dongxiang’s words.
But this was good too, as rumors were terrifying. Let’s see how Gu Yi could still face Ye Hao.
She would find soone to stage a scene; she wouldn’t believe she couldn’t win Ye Hao over.
Li Dongxiang shivered as she watched Yang Lin give a sinister smile.
Poor Gu Yi, she thought, for encountering soone like this.
"Here, this is ten bucks. If anything happens with Ye Hao, be sure to call first."
Li Dongxiang quickly accepted the money and said with a smile.
"Of course, of course."
Chen Jun’s mother ca back from outside, and Li Dongxiang quickly pocketed the money.
Chen Jun’s mother saw Yang Lin.
She hurried over to greet her.
"Girl, you’re here. Stay for dinner, I’ll start preparing now."
"Auntie, it’s fine. I just ca to discuss sothing with Sister-in-law Li, and I’ll be going soon."
As soon as Yang Lin saw Chen Jun’s mother, she quickly wiped the sinister smile off her face and replaced it with a sweet deanor.
"Mom, Yang Lin has things to do. Let her stay for dinner another ti."
Li Dongxiang knew Yang Lin had to rush back and chid in.
Chen Jun’s mother gave her a stern look, and Li Dongxiang imdiately shut her mouth.
Even though Chen Jun’s mother had been tough in the countryside, and Li Dongxiang had a fiery personality, they had their share of friction but generally got along fine.
But since this old lady ca, whether it was because of her withholding money or other reasons, she had been instigating Chen Jun to give Li Dongxiang a hard ti.
"Auntie, really no need to be polite. I have to go to work at the hospital soon, and if I eat, I’ll be late."
Yang Lin quickly stood up, checked her watch, and smiled at Chen Jun’s mother.

Her smile grew even more radiant.
"Alright, but next ti you must eat before you leave."

Chen Jun’s mother happily saw Yang Lin to the door and far out.
Once back inside and the door shut, her face fell as she reached out to Li Dongxiang.
"Mom, what do you want?"
Li Dongxiang pretended not to understand.
"Don’t play dumb with . I saw you when I ca in just now. You were pretty quick with stashing it away."
Hearing this, Li Dongxiang knew she wouldn’t be able to keep the money on her this ti either.
To keep her money, she’d probably have to risk half her life, and even then, it might not be saved.
She slowly pulled out the ten bucks from her pocket and placed it in Chen Jun’s mother’s hand.
Chen Jun’s mother snatched the money from Li Dongxiang’s hand and said fiercely, "Hurry and cook, do you want to starve to death?"
Li Dongxiang went into the kitchen and muttered curses towards Chen Jun’s mother like a mantra under her breath.
