Gu Yi had to go to school, and Ye Qian also needed to open her shop.
She didn’t have much ti to focus on Li Dongxiang’s matter.
If Li Dongxiang hadn’t provoked her multiple tis, she wouldn’t have gone to Li Jun’s mother for advice.
After what Li Dongxiang had been through, she had no choice but to stop bothering her.
The divorce between Chen Jun and Li Dongxiang was processed particularly quickly.
As soon as Li Dongxiang received the divorce certificate, she got people to move all her things out.
On the other hand, Chen Jun and his mother ended up with nothing but a mountain of debt.
They secured a piece of land from the army, and Chen Jun’s mother was busy tending to it every day, hoping the vegetables would grow soon.
Chen Jun’s mother often asked around about when Yang Lin would visit.
Ye’s mother was the one who ntioned these things.
As Ye Qian’s shop began its renovation, Ye Family’s parents ca to B City from the army.
Ye Qian’s shop was renovated very quickly.
The renovation team was introduced by Li Yitian.
The leader of the renovation team was also a young guy, a friend of Li Yitian’s nad Sun Ming, who was from the north but moved to B City with his parents during middle school.
According to Li Yitian, Sun Ming studied architecture but, instead of building houses, ended up doing interior design.
He started by designing sketches for others, gradually building his own team and establishing a small company.
Ye Qian’s project was the first they completed independently after forming the company.
Even though Ye Qian’s place wasn’t very large, Sun Ming was extrely dedicated, staying on-site almost every day.
Ye Qian had nothing else to do besides overseeing the renovation, so she stayed in the shop as well.
When they had so free ti, they would chat casually.
Ye Qian talked about the uncertainty and fear she felt when she decided to settle down in B City.
Although Sun Ming didn’t go through the process of establishing himself in B City, he witnessed his parents gradually doing so.
Therefore, he understood the hardships and struggles involved.
He also shared many experiences his family faced when they moved to B City.
As they chatted more and more, a camaraderie developed between them.
Mothers often have a keen sense of changes in their children.
Ye’s mother noticed that Ye Qian was spacing out more frequently.
Sotis she would even smile to herself.
"Yiyi, is Qianqian in love?"
Ye’s mother didn’t tell Ye Fu because she was worried he might bluntly ask Ye Qian and cause trouble.
But she felt uneasy, so she talked to Gu Yi about it. After all, the two sisters-in-law got along well, and maybe Qianqian wasn’t comfortable sharing it with her parents but would share with Gu Yi.
"I haven’t asked Qianqian about this. Mom, did sothing happen?"
Gu Yi was puzzled by Ye’s mother’s inquiry.
She spent most of her ti in class, and her interactions with Ye Qian mostly occurred at the dinner table.
But during those tis, everyone chatted together, and she didn’t notice any changes in Ye Qian.
She just felt that Ye Qian’s complexion had improved greatly since she first arrived.
"She’s been zoning out a lot at ho recently, and sotis smiles to herself. I think she must be in love."
The more Ye’s mother thought about it, the more convinced she beca.
"Has Qianqian been in contact with anyone recently?"
"She spends most of her ti at the shop and hasn’t ntioned going anywhere else."
Ye’s mother thought carefully.
"Mom, why don’t you visit the shop tomorrow to see whom Qianqian interacts with the most?"
Gu Yi couldn’t figure it out and suggested that Ye’s mother visit the shop to have a look.
"Alright, I’ll buy so snacks and go there tomorrow morning."
Ye’s mother quickly ca up with a good excuse.
The next day, after Ye Qian left the house.
Ye’s mother cleaned up the house, then went out to buy so fruit.
She also bought so buns and carried them to Ye Qian’s shop.
Since Ye Qian’s shop had a glass door, Ye’s mother deliberately looked through it.
She indeed saw Ye Qian talking to a man.
And they seed to be having a pleasant conversation.
Upon closer inspection, she realized it was Sun Ming.
Sun Ming wasn’t strikingly handso at first glance, but he gave off a comfortable and reliable vibe.
If it were Sun Ming, Ye’s mother would be quite happy for Ye Qian to be with him.
Thinking of this, her previously anxious heart gradually cald down.
She smiled, opened the door, and walked in.
"Sun Ming is here too. It’s just right; I brought so food over."
Ye Qian and Sun Ming heard the voice and saw Ye’s mother had arrived.
Sun Ming quickly walked over to take the things from Ye’s mother’s hands.
"Thank you, Auntie. I was just getting hungry, so I won’t be polite."
Sun Ming expressed with genuine delight.
"Then hurry and eat. I was afraid you’d be hungry while working. Everyone, co have so food; you’ve all worked hard."
Ye’s mother, hearing Sun Ming’s words, bead joyfully.
She also invited the workers to co over and have so food.
Everyone thanked Ye’s mother and, after washing their hands, gathered around.
Sun Ming didn’t just start eating; he first handed one to Ye’s mother.
Then he gave one to Ye Qian.
Ye Qian accepted it, the two exchanged glances, and smiled in sync.
Ye’s mother observed this and was pretty sure these two had sothing going on.
She chose not to ntion it openly.
Once everyone had eaten almost enough, and seeing it was getting late, Ye’s mother spoke.
"Sun Ming, it’s hard work for you here. Auntie will head back to prepare lunch, co over with Qianqian for lunch at ho."
Ye’s mother invited directly.
"Thank you, Auntie, but I have to go discuss a project elsewhere shortly, so I can’t make it for lunch this ti. I hope another chance cos to taste Auntie’s cooking."
While Sun Ming spoke, he kept glancing at Ye Qian.
In truth, he was quite eager to go, not just for the al.
He simply wanted more interaction with Ye Qian’s family to earn so goodwill.
Ye Qian caught his look and stood by sowhat shyly.
"There will definitely be an opportunity, busy young people working is a good thing."
The more Ye’s mother looked at Sun Ming, the more she liked him.
"Mom, I’ll go back with you then."
Ye Qian knew her mother must have noticed sothing, and since Sun Ming would be leaving soon, she could explain to her mother.
"Okay, Sun Ming, Qianqian and I will head back first. Talk to you next ti."
Before leaving, Ye’s mother bid Sun Ming farewell.
"Alright, see you next ti, Auntie."
Sun Ming said with a smile.
"I’ll be going now, okay?"
Ye Qian quietly said to Sun Ming as her mother turned away.
"Sure, I’ll co over again in the afternoon."
Sun Ming said as he waved at Ye Qian.
Ye Qian nodded with a blush and hurried to catch up with her mom.
"Mom, what do you think of Sun Ming?"
Ye Qian hooked her arm around her mother’s and asked.
"He’s nice. Even better if he were my son-in-law."
As soon as Ye’s mother finished speaking, Ye Qian’s face turned even redder.
"Mom, I knew you’d notice. I was planning to wait until we’re more stable before telling you."
Ye Qian was aware that her family was anxious about her matters.
So she intended to wait until she and Sun Ming were more certain before telling them.
Otherwise, if they didn’t work out, it would have made her family happy for nothing.
"Your idea is right. After all, you and Sun Ming haven’t known each other long. You should tell your sister-in-law to ask Li Yitian since they are friends, and he might know more."
Ye’s mother felt it was more prudent to let Gu Yi find out.
Although Ye Qian knew Sun Ming was a good person, she didn’t mind her sister-in-law asking around to reassure the family.
