Gu Yi only glanced at Ye Hao once when he entered the door.
Afterward, she sat at the table waiting for him.
Ye Hao stood in front of Gu Yi, looking at the divorce agreent on the table.
He suddenly felt as if there was a hole in his heart.
It was particularly painful, yet he didn’t know what to do.
Gu Yi waited for a long ti, but Ye Hao didn’t say a word.
"Take a look, and if there’s no problem, just sign it. I’ll talk to the elders."
Gu Yi pushed the agreent towards Ye Hao.
"Sign it. Once you sign, you’ll be free."
"Don’t sign, you’ll regret it if you do."
At this mont, Ye Hao simultaneously heard two voices in his head, piercing his mind with a throbbing pain.
He moved his gaze away from the agreent and turned to Gu Yi.
He wanted to see what her expression was at the mont.
Gu Yi happened to be looking up at him too.

Gu Yi thought to herself that the day he wanted to marry Yang Lin, he’d see how urgent this would beco.
But now Gu Yi felt that there was no point in saying it anymore.
After all, it had always been their own reasons.
Ye Hao suddenly felt as if he had lost sothing very precious.
He quietly listened to Gu Yi without responding to her.
Gu Yi thought Ye Hao didn’t want to talk to her and turned to look around the room.

After the door closed, Gu Yi could no longer hold back her tears.
She covered her mouth, afraid that Ye Hao would hear her.
She wiped away her tears with her hand and headed to where she could catch the bus with her suitcase.
It wasn’t the weekend today, so there weren’t many people on the bus.
Gu Yi found a seat by the window and sat down.
As the bus began to move, the outside scenery got farther and farther from her.
Gu Yi’s tears began to fall again.
Perhaps this was the path she should have taken after her rebirth, only a few years late.
When Gu Yi ca back to her senses, she noticed a stinging pain in her palm.
She opened her hand, realizing that while talking to Ye Hao earlier, she had clenched it tightly.
Her palm was covered in nail marks; the salty tears made that taste absolutely sour and biting.

After arriving in B City, Gu Yi didn’t take the suitcase to her current ho.
Instead, she took it directly to the new place she bought.
After putting her things away, she went to Ye’s mother.
Before going, she took the signed divorce agreent with Ye Hao with her.
"Yiyi, why are you back now?"
Ye’s mother seed a bit surprised to see Gu Yi.
Yesterday, Gu Yi had said she wouldn’t be ho for lunch, but it was Friday, and she should have been in class at this ti.
Why did Gu Yi co back?
"I have sothing to do today, so I took a day off."
Gu Yi said with a smile.
"Oh, it’s hot outside, go take a shower and get so rest."
Ye’s mother didn’t press Gu Yi much about her whereabouts.

Ye’s mother happily left the house.
Gu Yi watched the door close and could barely hold herself together again.
She quickly returned to the room, found the large suitcase her sister-in-law had bought, and packed all her clothes and belongings inside.
She also took a set of bed sheets and covers from the room.
Once everything was packed, she tried lifting the suitcase. It was too heavy for her to manage alone, especially now that she was expecting a baby; she didn’t dare to handle such heavy things.
While Ye’s mother was in the kitchen, she quickly went to the living room to call Li Yitian.
Asking him to co later to help move her things after dinner.
"Mom’s braised pork is still the best, but unfortunately, I won’t be able to have it anymore."
After everyone finished eating, Gu Yi suddenly made this remark.

"Sister-in-law, what is it you want to tell us that makes it all so serious?"
Ye Qian sat next to Gu Yi, pulling on her arm with a smile.
She just wanted to lighten the mood.
"Ye Hao and I have gotten divorced, so I wanted to thank you all for taking care of all this ti. From today onward, I’m moving out; this place and the house back in our hotown will both be yours."
As soon as Gu Yi finished speaking, the three mbers of the Ye family were stunned.
"Sister-in-law, are you joking?"
Ye Qian said, tears starting to fall.
Inside, though, she knew it was true because her sister-in-law wouldn’t joke about sothing like this.
"Don’t cry, Qianqian. I’ve already made up my mind. The house in our hotown is for Mom and Dad, and this apartnt is my gift to you for your wedding. Sun Ming is great, you should live well with him."
As Gu Yi spoke, her voice also began to tremble.
"I don’t want it, Sister-in-law, I don’t want anything. I just want you and my brother to be well."
Ye Qian hugged Gu Yi’s arm even tighter.
"Yiyi, did Hao say sothing or do anything to upset you? Just tell , and I’ll go beat him up to vent your anger. But divorce is a big deal; you two need to think it over carefully."
Ye Fu also wanted to quickly change Gu Yi’s mind.
"Yes, Yiyi, we’ll go talk to him. Don’t be upset with him anymore, okay?"

Gu Yi handed the divorce agreent signed by her and Ye Hao to Ye Family’s parents.
