Gu Yi and Ye Hao slowly walked to the mall.
Gu Yi specifically picked out little pink clothes to buy.

She scolded herself for forgetting, she should have visited the hospital.

Wu Chuni said with a smile.

"I hope she’s my little princess."
Gu Yi said gently, stroking her belly.

"Yes, I just want a girl, so I can dress her up beautifully every day and take her out to make others envious."
Gu Yi smiled widely, imagining the scene.

Ye Honglian thought of her mischievous kid and envied those with daughters.
"Captain Ye, do you want a boy or a girl?"
Ye Honglian noticed Ye Hao walking over with a plate of fruit and teased him.
"Whatever Yiyi wants, I want. If she has a daughter, I’ll protect the two of them, and if it’s a son, we’ll both protect her."
Ye Honglian and Wu Chuni laughed together.
"Captain, you’re so understanding. I’ll make my husband learn from you."
Wu Chuni teased with a smile.
Gu Yi was hearing this from Ye Hao for the first ti and blushed a bit.
Ye Hao raised his eyebrows at her.
"Sister-in-law, chat here while we go get so groceries. Stay for lunch."
Ye Hao said and then left with Gu’s father.
"Yiyi, when did you and Captain Ye make up?"
Ye Honglian asked with a gossipy expression.
"Just recently. Sister-in-law, have so fruit."
Gu Yi was a bit embarrassed, last ti they visited, she was so adamant about not going back to Ye Hao.
How quickly things turned around.
"It’s okay, we just hoped you two would get back together. You know, if you’re alone with a child, without help, it would be really tough."
Ye Honglian shared her genuine thoughts; she didn’t want to press last ti seeing Gu Yi so resolute.
Wu Chuni nodded vigorously beside her.

Gu Yi asked with a smile.
"Absolutely."
Ye Honglian nodded in agreent.
"Speaking of couples, I rembered Chen Jun. When Li Dongxiang was around, they fought all the ti. Now, Chen Jun and Yang Lin are married, and they’re fighting too. I even heard he kicked her, causing her to lose their child. Can you believe he can be so cold, it’s his own child."
Talking about couples brought Chen Jun to Wu Chuni’s mind.
Gu Yi was shocked upon hearing this.
This Chen Jun isn’t as harmless as he looks on the surface.
But she didn’t expect it to escalate to the point where he kicked away the child with Yang Lin.
"Yes, their family is that way, but Chen Jun’s mother’s hand in it can’t be ignored. She’s difficult with everyone."
Ye Honglian joined in.
Chen Jun’s family drama was well-known within the army.

Gu Yi asked curiously.

Wu Chuni shared the details circulating in the army.
"Now they’re saying that Chen Jun and his mom had their eyes on Yang Lin’s father’s power, but before he could help, he got arrested. Not only did they lose the influence, but Yang Lin lost her job. Gu Yi listened and sighed.
She knew Yang Lin’s life wasn’t easy with Chen Jun’s family after her father stepped down, but she hadn’t imagined it would be this bad.
