Gu Yi slept all afternoon, and when she woke up, it was already dark.
She hadn’t had ti to buy things for the kitchen yet, so she wouldn’t be eating at ho tonight.
She planned to go to the nearby food street to grab a bite to eat.
Gu Yi was pretty relaxed, while Li Yitian was being "interrogated" by his parents at the dinner table.
"Son, have you been seeing anyone lately?"
Mrs. Li asked casually, holding a bowl.
"Nope."
Li Yitian replied without even looking up, continuing with his al.
Mr. Li and Mrs. Li exchanged glances.
"If you are, bring her ho to et us. Your dad and I aren’t that old-fashioned; as long as the girl is good, we won’t oppose it."
Li Yitian paused upon hearing this and looked up at his mother, full of anticipation. Then he looked at his father, who was also staring curiously. He felt puzzled.
"Seriously, no. Did you hear sothing from soone?"
Li Yitian guessed that his parents must have heard sothing from soone, otherwise they wouldn’t be so certain in what they said.
"Stop lying to your parents. A friend of your dad said they saw you with a girl at the property center, handling house-buying paperwork. They even asked us if you were getting married, hence buying a house for moving out later. Is there anything like that happening?"
Mrs. Li sounded a bit angry about this matter. Such a major thing as buying a house, and her son hadn’t leaked a single word to them. Just for this reason, she had a bit of an opinion about that girl.
Li Yitian looked at his parents with a "let’s see how you’re going to explain this" face, and couldn’t help but laugh.
"Why are you laughing? If it’s true, bring her ho. Do what needs to be done. Set up a eting with her parents, finalize things, and don’t let it turn into a scandal that embarrasses us."

Li Yitian quickly interrupted his parents’ conversation. If he didn’t stop them, who knows how far their imagination would run.
"Isn’t it?"
Mrs. Li looked unconvinced.
"That was my business partner. Didn’t I tell you before, she’s from R City? She’s not familiar with here, so I accompanied her to handle the paperwork. Besides, she’s already married. Please don’t let your imaginations run wild."
"She’s buying a house, and her husband doesn’t co; still needs you to accompany her?"

Once the kitchen was all set up, it felt like a complete ho. Now she was just waiting for Ye Hao, the man of the house.
After sorting these out, Gu Yi initially considered buying so groceries to invite Li Yitian for an inaugural al but later figured it would be better to wait until Ye Hao graduated so they could host together.
Once she tidied up at ho, she went to the telecommunications bureau, intending to get a phone installed. Nowadays, every complex in B City had phones, possibly because the previous owner’s son hadn’t lived much there, so they hadn’t installed one, making it convenient for her since she didn’t have to be present to switch account holders.
The telecommunications bureau in the big city was busier than in her local county town. After paying, she could only book an installation for next Monday.
Counting Ye Hao’s graduation ti was just over ten days away; she’d call him with the address once the phone was installed.
Passing the school on her way ho, she considered going in to inquire about enrollnt.
"Hello, could you tell which office I should go to for enrollnt?"
Gu Yi asked at the guard room at the entrance.
The guard glanced at her, assuming she was here to inquire about examinations, then replied.
"You should go directly to the Academic Affairs Office; it’s on the second floor of that building behind us."
Gu Yi thanked him and proceeded in the direction he pointed.
Reaching the second floor, she found the Academic Affairs Office sign, approached, and knocked on the door.
"How can I help you?"
Inside was a young male teacher with glasses.
"I’d like to inquire about enrolling and attending school here."
Gu Yi stated her intentions.
"What’s your previous educational background?"
"I just graduated from junior high, never attended high school."
Gu Yi regretted not continuing to high school.
"Enrollnt is now through exams, and even though the score requirent isn’t high, it might still be a bit challenging for you."
The young teacher seed to be newly graduated and patiently explained to Gu Yi.
"That’s okay, I still want to take a shot at it. How can I enroll?"
"I have enrollnt forms here; you need to fill in your details."
Since Art College wasn’t as popular as it would be in later years, the requirents were fairly lenient. The male teacher handed Gu Yi a form to fill in her information.
Gu Yi completed it and handed it back to him.
"Which class are you interested in?"
"Do you have a fashion design course?"
"Yes, there’s a new class this year, but it requires a test of your drawing skills. The entrance exam is in a month, and if you pass, there’s a drawing exam in half a month."
"Alright, thank you for letting know."
Gu Yi wasn’t too worried about drawing since she had learned a bit in her past life, and though not proficient, it should suffice for the exam.
Currently, the most important challenge was the general knowledge exam.
