The two remaining rooms, the one in the middle is the study.

In the center of the room, there is a decorative partition with beaded curtains hanging on it. On the desk inside, there are brushes, ink, paper, and inkstones. A row of bookshelves lined up against the wall behind it holds various books and different types of brushes, ink, paper, and inkstones.

Outside the beaded curtain, there are bamboo racks on each side. They hold erhu, pipa, xiao, flute, guzheng, and guqin, and there’s more than one of each instrunt. It seems that the original owner was quite the talented woman, fond of collecting these.
