This confused Mrs. Lin: "You dead girl, you can still laugh."

Lin Kaixin saw that her mom was really angry, so she tried her best to stop smiling: "Mom, what are you thinking about?"

Mrs. Lin was puzzled, and punched her troubleso daughter again: "Then why were you staring at the Ye Family’s yard just now?"

She had seen it clearly just now; her troubleso daughter was staring at the Ye Family with eyes so bright they were frightening. How could she have seen it wrong?

Lin Kaixin knew that if she didn’t explain clearly, she might get another punch soon, so she quickly said: "Mom, don’t make random guesses. I was looking at those kids’ clothes, thinking about eting the Aunt Yan they ntioned, to see if there might be a chance to collaborate.

You saw it too. As soon as Ye Family’s kids ca out, they attracted so many kids’ attention. If we mass-produce those clothes, imagine how much money we could make!"

Only then did Mrs. Lin’s frown ease, realizing she had misunderstood her daughter. But she still warned: "You better not be lying to ."

Lin Kaixin eagerly hooked her arm around her mom’s shoulder: "Mom, how could I dare lie to you? I just think that if soone can design these clothes, they can certainly co up with other designs. If we can collaborate, our factory’s orders would be off the charts."

Mrs. Lin saw that she spoke convincingly and finally let her go.

However, she still reminded her: "With these matters, don’t make decisions on your own. Better let the leaders at the factory decide, to avoid complaints later."

Lin Kaixin smiled coyly: "Mom, you’re the best to ."

Mrs. Lin raised her hand to knock on Lin Kaixin’s forehead: "As long as you know. Also, think twice before you act. Stop staring at the Ye Family so openly like that. If others see, who knows what kind of rumors might start."

Lin Kaixin just appeased her mom, but was already thinking about how to discuss this with the Aunt Yan that Ye Siyan ntioned.

Xinyan didn’t know that soone had their eyes on these clothes.

Lin Kaixin tid them during al breaks, absent-mindedly listening to the noises from the neighboring yard, so much so that she didn’t even hear her sister-in-law calling her to eat.

Mrs. Lin’s eldest daughter-in-law nudged her mother-in-law with her elbow: "Mom, what’s wrong with the little sister? She seems absent-minded?"

Mrs. Lin glanced outside: "What else could it be, if not the factory’s issues."

Mrs. Lin’s eldest daughter-in-law said with a hint of envy: "Ah, the higher the position, the greater the responsibility. Our Kaixin is really sothing. Whenever I visit the kids’ places, people always ntion her, and it really makes proud."

Mrs. Lin was also pleased to hear her eldest daughter-in-law’s words. Her daughter was indeed good, but she was no longer young and still not looking for a partner. It was truly worrying, no matter how much they coaxed her, she just wouldn’t listen. If you pushed her too much, she wouldn’t co ho for half a month, really maddening.

Lin Kaixin heard Ye Liyan scolding his son over there: "What’s the hurry? Finish what’s in your bowl before going out. If you don’t behave, you can forget about Aunt Yan making clothes for you in the future."

Lin Kaixin heard Ye Liyan repeatedly ntion Aunt Yan and thought: What’s this woman’s relationship with their family anyway?

She sat there, imagining several scenarios in her head.

Her sister-in-law Qi Caiyun ca over with a bowl of rice: "Kaixin, what are you thinking so intently about that you didn’t hear calling you to eat?"

She smiled and took the bowl and chopsticks from Qi Caiyun: "Thank you, sister-in-law."

Qi Caiyun laughed: "Now you’re being polite to your sister-in-law."

After speaking, she turned and went back to the kitchen.

Lin Kaixin cheerfully ate the food in her bowl, but before she could finish, she heard movent from the neighboring yard, followed by a male voice: "Alright, you don’t have to get involved. I’ll call Liyan to the kitchen; he’s coming to do the dishes."

Then she heard Ye Liyan say: "Cousin, why don’t you do them yourself?"

That male voice ca again: "I’m just a guest here, how could you ask to do them?"

Ye Liyan replied: "If you want to wash them, I won’t stop you."

But then the male voice countered: "But I don’t want to, and trying to provoke won’t work. I won’t fall for that."

Xinyan stood there with crossed arms, amused as she watched the two of them bicker while tidying up. They were really childish, but it also showed their close relationship.

She couldn’t help but think of Shen Ninghui, wondering what the scene would be like if she were still alive.

She also rembered what He Jinxuan had told her before, that the Shen Family still hadn’t given up on repairing their relationship with Ye Liyan. Thinking about it was truly speechless.

Why didn’t they do sothing earlier.

If they had taken care of the two children back then, they wouldn’t be like frightened birds, retreating at the slightest disturbance, making Sili lose the smile from his face, always putting on a cold, grown-up front to protect himself. Just thinking about it was frustrating.
