“But, she’s in confinent period. I heard it’s forbidden for a woman to stay at soone else’s place during that ti, the hoowner might feel it’s taboo,” Ouyang Ziyu ntioned what she heard.
“I never said she would live at our house. So houses in our village are vacant. I can just rent one for her. I only need to deliver food to her.” Qin Xue knew about the custom. In Hua Country, parents also wouldn’t want their daughters to live with them after childbirth, let alone outsiders. So, when she decided to take Qing Zhu back, she didn’t plan to have her stay at her house but had already mapped out a plan.
“I see, you’ve already thought of a place for her. I was worried that you would deliberately break convention,” Ouyang Ziyu nodded after hearing Qin Xue’s words, relieved that there would be a place for Qing Zhu to stay.
