“Pretty good, actually. You can sotis see their insecurities when people make fun of them, but they always remain true to themselves, never minding what others say or think.” Qin Jiale knew this because they were seated next to each other at school.
“You can get to know these two classmates a little better, and maybe take them out to exercise and help them lose weight.” Qin Xue casually said sothing that left Qin Jiale puzzled and walked off.
“Sis, what do you an?” Jiale shouted at Qin Xue, who had just disappeared into the kitchen.
“Think about it yourself, you’ll understand once you do.” Qin Xue did not explain, believing that figuring it out on her own would solidify the point more deeply on her mind.
“If she wants to think, then I’ll think.” Jiale muttered to herself after hearing her sister’s words.
“LeLe, what are you muttering?” Qin Yu just arrived to hear his sister muttering to herself.
“Nothing.” Jiale had no intention of spilling her conversation with her sister to her brother.
“Alright then, if you’re not going to share, why don’t you lend a hand instead of standing around?” Noticing Jiale standing in the yard whilst everyone else was busy, Qin Yu couldn’t help but remind her.
“Nope, I’m thinking about sothing.” Jiale turned and returned to the living room, leaving Qin Yu and Yu Ze staring at each other in the yard.
“Yu Ze, do you know what your aunt ans?” Qin Yu asked the young man in his arms.
Yu Ze looked at his dumb-faced uncle. Not knowing how to respond, he thought that his uncle was lucky that his aunt didn’t kick him for not understanding and wondered if his uncle’s cluelessness would hinder him from finding a wife in the future.
“Alright, forget it, I’ll think about it myself.” Qin Yu said as he carried Yu Ze back to the living room.
“Everyone, dinner’s ready!” Qin Xue hollered into the living room once the last dish was set on the table.
“Fang Xiu, take TaoTao out for a al, Ms. Ouyang, let’s go.” As soon as Qin Yu heard his sister’s words, he addressed several individuals who were warming themselves by the fire.
“Okay.” Ouyang Ziyu, who was holding Yu Chen, stood up and walked out.
“Grandma, grandpa, aren’t you coming?” Qin Yu asked the two elders who remained in their seats.
“Right, let’s go.” The old lady took a glance at Ouyang Ziyu who had just stepped out, then at Qin Yu, and smiled.
