“I see. Just that Qin Su’e seems afraid of him.” Qin Xue didn’t know Fang’er, so she didn’t understand more from what Qin Yun said.
“That man seems to be a veteran, doesn’t talk much usually, and looks sowhat intimidating,” Qin Qiu added.
“Isn’t he from our village? You guys seem to hardly know him.” Qin Xue found the conversation between the siblings a bit awkward.

This man was brought back by Fang’er’s mom; nobody knows where she found him. Hence, the villagers initially knew nothing about his past. However, since his arrival, he hadn’t done anything bad.
