Chapter 1315: Chapter 1309: Almost Collided_1 Chapter 1315: Chapter 1309: Almost Collided_1 “Are you here for sothing?” Qin Jiale rummaged through a pile of letters for her own. Usually the doorman would assist her, but since he wasn’t around and she had to head back to class soon, she had no choice but to look for it herself. But it was fine, as long as her brother-in-law and his companions were there to testify that she was only collecting her own letters.
“I do have sothing in mind. When are you going ho on vacation?” Chu Molin recalled what Ye Xuan had just said. Since he didn’t have ti to approach his in-laws personally, telling Qin Jiale and letting her relay the ssage would do the trick too.
“Not until a month later, I just returned ho a few days ago. Is sothing the matter?” Qin Jiale looked for her letter while chatting with her brother-in-law.
“We just wanted to discuss sothing with you. When you’re free, have a talk with mom and dad. It’s always better knowing things, regardless of whether there’s any issue or not…” Chu Molin said.
“I knew she was just acting! That sort of woman would have never been shattered by a tiny issue like this.” After listening to Chu Molin, Qin Jiale voiced out her own perspective. She had felt suspicious when she went ho last ti, and her brother-in-law’s statent further substantiated her guess.
“Whenever you have ti, go ho and give mom and dad a heads up. Or I could send them a telegram.” Chu Molin didn’t want to stir up trouble, as it was disrespectful. That’s why he insisted on letting Qin Jiale relay the ssage. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
“Sure, brother-in-law, Is everything going well with my sister and her family in Imperial Capital?” Looking at the letter in her hand, Qin Jiale recognized her sister’s handwriting, then she smiled and asked Chu Molin.
“They are all doing fine. Don’t worry, Xue’er misses you all very much. Why not visit Imperial Capital during the holidays?” Chu Molin rarely spoke so much to Qin Jiale, besides his wife Qin Xue, this is perhaps the most conversation he’s had in a while.
“Alright, I will definitely co by then. Brother-in-law, I should head off to class. Please tell my sister and the little ones that I miss them.” After getting the information she wanted and her letter, Qin Jiale was ready to leave.
“Alright.” Chu Molin nodded. Even if Qin Jiale hadn’t ntioned it, he would have passed along her ssage to Qin Xue. Although his wife didn’t say much, he was aware that she missed her family. Family bonds run deep. Even if Xue’er was a person from a later generation, she still carries the blood of the Qins. There was no way she wouldn’t miss her family.
Ye Li, who had co to et them, from afar saw Qin Jiale engrossed in a heated conversation with her brother and his companions. His initially cheerful mood was dampened, and he entered listlessly.
“Ye Li, what brings you here, aren’t you supposed to be in class?” Qin Jiale had barely walked a couple of steps when she almost collided with the approaching Ye Li. She dodged him just in ti, and could only gasp for breath.
“Why are you here, do you know those two people?” Ye Li pointed past her to Chu Molin and Ye Xuan, asking her about them.
Qin Jiale turned to see who he was pointing at. She knew her brother-in-law, but the other one was a stranger, so she shook her head.
“You’re having such a good ti chatting with people you don’t know, are you stupid? What if you got kidnapped?” Ye Li seethed, angered that she dared to chat so rrily with strangers, who were also good-looking. By the looks of it, there’s a high chance they could get abducted.
“That’s impossible.” Qin Jiale widened her eyes at Ye Li, never believing that her brother-in-law would kidnap her. Her sister was such a good person and her brother-in-law treated her so well, there was no way Qin Jiale would believe him capable of such a thing.
