“But I just want Mom to feed . Is that not allowed?” Yu Chen looked at his older brother pitifully.
“It’s allowed, it’s just, think about it, you’re making things difficult for Mom. Just sit properly and let Mom feed you.” Yu Ze beca even more animated in his speech.
Qin Xue and Fang Xiu just watched as the two brothers started their lively conversation, unable to understand what they were saying.
They might not have understood, but Yu Chen did. So, he sat down reluctantly, stopped reaching out with his hands, and looked pitifully at the bowl in Qin Xue’s hand.
“My little darling, you must be starving. Mom is going to feed you now.” Qin Xue looked at her sons with a mix of exasperation and amusent, then started feeding them.
“Yu Ze, eat with your brother. Open your mouth.” Qin Xue used separate bowls and spoons, she had prepared two servings, but she was just feeding them both at the sa ti.
“In a month’s ti, you two should start feeding yourselves. This will also lessen the burden on your mom, what do you think?” Aunt Ling had been listening to their squabble. She did not understand their language, but after seeing Yu Chen’s reaction, she had a good guess of what was going on.
Hence, she laid down the rule. From now on, they would just leave the bowls and spoons in front of them. They didn’t have to worry about how much they spilled. After a few days, they would get used to it.
Aunt Ling didn’t want Qin Xue to end up raising two giant babies, so they needed to start training from a young age.
“Ya ya.” Understanding this, the brothers nodded.
“From now on, you’ll have to do things on your own. Once you feel that you can be independent, you can start learning new things. How does that sound?” Aunt Ling explained while sitting beside them.
“Aunt Ling, I want to learn too.” Seeing that Aunt Ling was only teaching Yu Ze and his brother, Jingtao also expressed his desire to learn.
“It’s going to be tough, are you sure you want to learn as well?” Aunt Ling wouldn’t mind teaching Jingtao. It was just that his mother was there, and she knew that Qin Xue was lazy, often shifting tasks onto her. Hence, Aunt Ling could decide for Jingtao. But Fang Xiu could surely have so objections, considering the number of bruises and injuries he might get from martial arts practice.
If Fang Xiu were to express her disagreent, there’s no way she would allow Jingtao to participate.
“Let him join.” Fang Xiu, seeing Aunt Ling looking at her, pulled Qin Xue aside to help with translating.
“Alright, but I am quite strict when it cos to training. and you two are not allowed to interfere. If you can’t promise this, just let know now, and you don’t have to participate.” Aunt Ling didn’t want Fang Xiu to intervene out of pity later on.
Aunt Ling wasn’t worried about Qin Xue as she knew her personality. Qin Xue also knew Aunt Ling would handle things appropriately, and thus, there was no hesitation between them.
“Okay, I understand.” Fang Xiu grasped so of knowing what they might do, considering that her son was still young and unfamiliar with Aunt Ling’s training thods.
As of now, Fang Xiu was aware of Aunt Ling’s skills. Despite her young age, her dical skills were exceptional. Otherwise, Qin Xue wouldn’t treat those dicinal pills as treasures and store them so carefully.
With that said, Fang Xiu was overjoyed that her son could learn from Aunt Ling. Regardless of the situation, certain opportunities are hard to co by and, once they present themselves, the wisest choice would be to seize them imdiately.
