“Alright, we understand. Let’s check the situation now.” Wu Jie didn’t disbelieve Chu Molin, but for now, they only had his word for it. They didn’t have any evidence, so they needed to wait and see. If nothing unusual happened, they’ll then inquire directly. Police work requires adherence to procedure, and they need to be careful in their approach.
“Understood.” Chu Molin knew their protocol. His wife had already told him about the traffickers’ transaction ti, and they would soon be taking action. So they had to wait; he was patient enough.

Three adults were walking in the front, followed by two more, plus the woman from earlier, making six in total.
“Xue’er, didn’t you say they were coming out? Why can’t I see Xue Ling among them?” Chu Molin had excellent vision, but despite looking carefully, he couldn’t spot Xue Ling.
“Yeah, let check.” Qin Xue also didn’t see anyone else coming out.
“Chu Molin, Xue Ling said they split up. Only three people are left inside: him, a young boy, and the one who’s sick,” Qin Xue relayed, uncertain as to how they escaped. Sothing must have happened while they weren’t paying attention.
“Damn, we might have missed our chance.” Considering everything, Chu Molin quickly figured out where things had gone wrong.
They must have left in groups while he was making the call, leaving Xue Ling and another child behind, likely due to their appealing appearance, which could fetch a good price.
“Didn’t Xue Ling say they were supposed to get on a boat? They must still be at the dock. You should tell the police to go there and arrest them,” Qin Xue suddenly realized.
“Wait here, I’ll be right back,” Chu Molin instructed his wife.
“Okay.” Qin Xue receded into the background to avoid detection. Once Chu Molin saw that she understood his intention, he went to talk to Mr. Wu.
“Mr. Wu, it seems to they may have split up and left. Could you divide your team into two groups? One group stay here to apprehend the ones left while the other heads to the dock to catch the others. What do you think?” Chu Molin observed the situation at the entrance. They couldn’t afford to wait around much longer.
Sure enough, the two sides soon approached each other, shaking hands in thanks. All Chu Molin wanted now was to see them being arrested, so no more families have to suffer the agony of having their children taken away.
