Chapter 1434: Chapter 1428: Bastard_1 Chapter 1434: Chapter 1428: Bastard_1 Jing Yuan had been asleep for several days, wandering in a dark haze. She didn’t know where the end or the exit was. At this ti, she thought she heard a voice. She followed it and saw a light, gradually moving closer. The voice beca clearer and clearer to her.

“Peng’er, go ho, take a shower, and eat sothing. You can’t keep going like this.” Mrs. Jing looked at her son, who had hardly taken care of himself for days. At a glance, one might mistake Jing Yuan for his wife rather than his sister. He had already gone above and beyond as a brother.

But no matter how many tis she said it, he just wouldn’t listen. It irritated her even more, and she didn’t know what to do to get him to treat her like he used to.

“Peng’er, say sothing. Will you talk to mommy? Fine, if you don’t want to talk to , can you go ho, take a bath, and get so sleep? I’ll keep watch here.” Mrs. Jing stepped back.

“You, care for her? If not for you, how could she end up like this? Do you know what you’ve done? Do you know you’ve killed your own grandchild?” Jing Peng stared at his mother, his eyes red. Since his childhood, she had only ever wanted him to win Jing Xiaonan’s favor. He didn’t understand why in the past, but now he did.

This woman claid to love him and want what was best for him, but in reality, she only loved herself. Jing Yuan had always stood by his side, and so he had poured out most of his feelings for her.

He had used Jing Yuan, but it was because he loved her. He didn’t want her to have feelings for anyone else, even if the person was their own brother. He wanted Jing Yuan to belong to him, body and soul. But now, their child had been killed by his own mother. How was he supposed to get over that?

“Grandchild? Ha, her child was just a bastard. A girl who disgraces herself like that—the only thing she’s done is to disgrace the Jing family.” said Mrs. Jing, not considering the possibility that the grandchild was truly her own.

“Bastard? Her child is a bastard? You’re right about that. I’m a bastard, so it stands to reason that my child would be a bastard, too.” Jing Peng never spoke like this before. He had never been willing to acknowledge that he was the product of his mother’s affair. But now that his mother called his child a bastard, he found it amusing.

“Peng’er, what do you an?” Mrs. Jing was taken aback. Why would her son say such a thing?

“What did I an? Didn’t you hear clearly, mother? If one wants to keep a secret, one mustn’t act in a way that could expose it. So secrets can’t be kept when the consequences beco apparent. Good luck to you.” Ever since Jing Peng found out that he was not the biological child of the Jing family, he had been making plans for himself. He was no longer a penniless wanderer.

But it seed that his mother didn’t know yet that he had found out her secret. Well, he would remind her then. If he could find out, so could others. That’s when the real trouble would start.

“Peng’er, what exactly do you know? And you ntioned your child? Where is your child?” Mrs. Jing asked in alarm and fear. Had her deeds been exposed?

“There are so things I don’t want to ntion again, but for my matters, I hope you don’t interfere in the future. Otherwise, don’t bla for being an unfilial son.” After saying that, Jing Peng looked at Jing Yuan on the hospital bed, ignoring Mrs. Jing completely.
