Jing Yuan wrote three letters, one to Jing Xin, one to give to Fang Xiu through Jing Xin, in which she apologized to them. She admitted that she had done too much and made a mistake. She hoped that they could trust each other more in the future in order to last. The other letter was left on her father’s desk, asking her father not to bla her. She wanted to clear her head and promised she would return when she was ready.
Jing Yuan didn’t deliver the letters herself. Instead, she left as if she was going out shopping as usual. Only this ti she had a backpack with her. She took a last look at the house where she had grown up, feeling reluctant to leave and guilty towards her father, and harboring complicated feelings towards her brother. Yet, everything had to co to an end. From this point onward, everyone should live peacefully.
After mailing the letters, Jing Yuan went to the train station. She didn’t know where to go, so she just got on a random train. Wherever the train went, she would disembark. Since then, Jing Yuan was no more in the Jing family, and no one knew where she went. Jing Peng, however, beca a completely changed person, almost insane, which scared everyone in the Jings.
