“Thank you, grandma. Grandpa is having his al.” Yu Ze called out to Qin Lei who had just walked in from outside.
“Alright.” Qin Lei was surprised to discover that there were still people who had waited for him to have dinner.
“Let’s eat, let’s eat.” Once everyone was seated, Qin Xue happily announced it was ti to start eating.
“Go ahead and eat. It’s been a long ride, you guys must not have had a good al.” Nangong Shulan had also taken long journeys by car, so she understood the ordeal. The food in the vehicle was not only expensive, but the main problem was that it wasn’t tasty.
“It’s okay, we brought a lot of food. Although it wasn’t very good, we didn’t get too hungry.” Qing Teng had brought a lot of food, then Qin Xue and the others also brought quite a bit, all of which when added up were good enough.
“Grandma, we have brought presents for you.” Yu Chen rembered their backpacks.

Jingtao didn’t bring anything himself because he couldn’t co from the start. But when he heard the little ones ntioning whom they had got gifts for on the car, he felt quite gloomy. However, when they ntioned that the gifts were actually ant to be from all of them, he perked up.
“Really? Then we must properly thank our kiddos.” The adults were surprised that the children had brought gifts. The children were indeed smart as they knew how to win people’s hearts.
“No need to thank us, these are from all of us to you.” Yu Chen blushed with joy at their words, happily responding.
“Well, well, you kids are really good. Anyway, we need to thank you all.” The old lady was chard by these children. Seeing Qin Xue’s surprised expression, she knew that the children had co up with this idea themselves. How precocious of them.
“Let’s eat our al properly first and then look at the gifts.” Yu Ze was really hungry. He wanted to eat, but everyone was busy talking and not eating, which made him feel ill at ease to start eating alone.
“Ok, let’s look at the gifts later. I will have a closer look then — what kind of presents our babies have prepared for their grandmas.” Qin Xue served so dishes into the children’s bowls and left it at that for now.
Just as Nangong Shulan was about to say sothing, she noticed the children skillfully picking up spoons and starting to eat their als. Both Cohen and Yu Ze were even using chopsticks adeptly. She had to marvel at their advantage, such small kids using chopsticks so expertly.
Mr Qin and his wife were amused by watching them and appreciated the way they were raised.
After the family had cheerfully finished their al, they waited for the children to present their gifts. The gifts were prepared by the children themselves while Qin Xue had no idea what the gifts were. Xue Ling did know but didn’t care, so in the end, it had to be the children who presented them.
Qin Xue ca over after washing the bowls and chopsticks. She too wished to know what the children had prepared.
However, looking at her youngest son, Qin Xue was sowhat amused and exasperated. His gift turned out to be the biscuits he had brought being divided among his grandparents and parents. Could this be the gift they were talking about?
Next was Yu Ze’s gift. His was rather more normal, although perhaps a bit too normal. He gave two large walnuts to his grandpa and a silk scarf to his grandma.
He gave a silk scarf to Nangong Shulan as well and amazingly, a pack of tea leaves for his father. It looked like good quality tea. Where did this little guy get the money to buy these things?
