“Munara, are you threatening ?” Qing Teng was infuriated. If Munara opposed her head-on, she could fight back, but as soon as Munara relented, she didn’t know how to deal with her.

Munara followed behind them, sticking out her tongue and making a funny face. She knew Qing Teng wouldn’t just stand by and watch her be in danger.

Her father had planned to find her a husband, but she didn’t want that, so she thought to have Qing Teng marry first. Who knew it would end like this, with them leaving together.
“What you see may not be reality. Out here is not like in the village. Here, no one treats you like a young lady, no one caters to your wishes, and no one flatters you. I really don’t know why you insisted on coming out. Wouldn’t it be better to stay in the village as the young lady and protector?” Qing Teng looked into the distance. It was unclear if she was lanting for Munara or teaching her, but she spoke her mind nonetheless.
“I’ll rember that.” Munara looked at Qing Teng unexpectedly. She was warning her to be careful of deceit.
